Bein' in a dream we seem to lean towards reality
And everythin' falls apart spinnin' to begin calamity
When they were your heart and now it's all about a salary
Ponderin' and wonderin' about saddenin' dreams maddenin'
The sad things comin' in to erupt the calmin' disruption
With thoughts layed through rust and dust now we're rushin'
The fashion of compassion causin' us to have some passion
Gives us a messed up ration just so we avoid this lashin'
Lastin' over night this fight's gone on for days
And with this heartless acidic rain with a pH that's been raised
At this rate all attempts for that sacred change is vained
And taken over by a hurricane of lifeless darkness and pain
If my memory served me right/I wouldn't have to fight
In spite of dreamin' of this night/Lightly gone in time
The right thing tonight/Might just be the ride
And if I'm lost inside/My pride will try to hide
In the memory do you think it's held together by glue
