Does Your Band Want To Open For Saosin?

If your band is interested in playing a show with Saosin (http://www.saosin.com), check out the information below:

OK so here's the deal. We have a few headline dates in between shows with Avenged Sevenfold, and are looking for some local bands to open for us. Here's the dates we have so far:

Oct 11 - The Door - Dallas, TX (ENTRIES BY THIS MONDAY)
Oct 18 - Tremont - Charlotte, NC
Oct 21 - The Imperial - Jacksonville, FL
Oct 28 - Buffalo Icon - Buffalo, NY

Here's how it'll work:

STEP ONE: Bands (AND BANDS ONLY) go to our MYSPACE PAGE (http://www.myspace.com/saosin) post a comment in our "Open for Saosin" blog with THE SHOW YOU WANT TO OPEN FOR and we'll check out your music on your myspace page. Also feel free to include a link to your band's website.

STEP TWO: We'll narrow the entries down to 10-15 per market. At this time we'll get contact info for all finalists.

STEP THREE: Once the finalists in each market are announced, FANS (both ours and yours) will vote on Saosin.com to determine who gets to open for us. Most votes wins. It's that simple.

STEP FOUR: ALL NON-BAND COMMENTS WILL BE REMOVED. Sorry, just makes it easier for us to go through everyone's music.

Kind of arrogant. It's usually up to the venue to pick the local opening band, not the headliners / tour package. Although, I will say that at least they'll get a good push since Saosin probably know people, and may get enough entries to where they find a few bands they personally enjoy and believe should be signed.
