The lights. The jamming. The intensity. I have seen footage of Zepplin play live and this performance reminded me a lot of the footage I've seen. Has anyone else been lucky enough to see this band live yet? They played for an hour and a half over here.

If you can make a drive to see them, do it. Its worth it. Very much worth it. They do a lot of improv jams and add some improv in their songs here and there. Even though they played for a long time, they kept me wanting to watch every second. I didn't want to miss anything.

I love live shows like that. I'll have to see if they come anywhere near here.

I agree, Fall of Troy's live performance is what converted me to them. I love how they have a guy who just "plays the lights."

They were actually in KC not too long ago, I couldn't go though, I had a prior obligation with the lady friend :(
ps, when the fuck is someone going to film these guys live? I mean, i've only seen the performance that was on their e-card, but I would kill for a downloadable file...(hint)

Yeah, I had to miss out on that as well. I don't remember them being here before that though. They better come next tour.

Thomas is seriously one of the best guitar players I have ever seen...period. The stuff he does on stage...wow. It's already hard enough to believe that FOT is a 3 piece, then when he pulls off all that stuff, while singing, and screaming...holy ishtastic.

Ya, his guitar playing is good and if I saw some dude that only plays guitar doing it I'd probably be like "Oh, that guys pretty good" but the fact that he sings/screams/is constantly switching FX pedals all at the same time and doing that is amazing

You're in luck. I work for this website around here call www.flamingfist.com I find bands, my friend video tapes and does most of the work. He taped a jam and "F.C.R.P.E.M.I.X."

That guy is awesome. It really adds to the whole performance. The strobe will be on and they seem frozen, then all the lights come on and everyone's going crazy. It was an experience, let me tell ya.

Ok where is it? I can't find anything on that crappy website. It'd be nice to see FOT play live, are they coming to Cleveland, probably not.

Yeah, I made a post about the show I watched in Brunswick. Amazing. They are supposed to do 2 more east coast tours and one of them is suppose to be with Fear Before The March Of Flames. That's what the guitarist told me :)
Just sucks most of the kids left after Chiodos played and only about half the crowd stuck around to watch Fall Of Troy. Fuckin idiots.
You got me all excited to see some live stuff on that Flamingfist site. Some of the links don't work and I guess the Fall Of Troy stuff isn't up yet?

Yeah, I couldn't find a whole lot either. I desperately want/need some vids of this band. :help:

Aren't they going to be touring with Minus the Bear? That would be an incredible double-whammy of a show. I caught the MtB show when they were her in Lawrence about a month ago, and I happened to be 2 feet away from the great Dave Knudson. To see him and Thomas Erak on the same night would be.....astounding to say the least.

The thing that sucks about flamingfist.com is that I don't run it haha. My friend does. I guess you can say I scout the bands? He doesn't even let me really do that, only some of the bands on there are ones I told him to tape. He's lazy as fuck.
Don't expect the video to be up until the end of October, if that. He's also got a Rory video he's yet to put up there. God, thinking about the way he runs that site pisses me off. He wants me to help him but when I do, he doesn't like it. Sorry, this was too long of a post. Just venting.
