They are still listed as one of the bands on Drive Thru's website, so my guess is yes, they are still signed to them. Im happy that we got some news, but hear are my thoughts.


Either it could work out and IATA gets the ball rolling, records, and releases one of the most highly anticipated records. If Drive Thru is going to be a part of the joint release, then it could work out because my guess is that Drive Thru and Record Label "X" will do something like splitting the amount of cash for IATA to get the new record out. Drive Thru, according to rumors, is nearly bankrupt, so splitting the amount of needed cash with another record label could act as less weight for DT to carry, making it easier/possible for the new record to be put out.

Or, Richard Reines will continue to be a douche bag and not release the record.

Hopefully shit works out, cause this band is 100x better than alotta the bands out there imo and deserves another record, which will probably be outstanding to say the least.

I KNOW! Polar Beasts is an awesome song, probably my favorite new one that isnt played too often. Also, I really like the song called "The fast song" theres one or two videos on Youtube of it.

I actually heard some new info a guy from the glassjaw forums said he talked to Vinnie last week at a show in NY. He said that they are currently negotiating with a bunch of labels but they all want to have a deal that will suit them best. He said he isnt 18 anymore and isnt going to sign anything thrown at him. The tricky part though is whatever new deal signed HAS to include Drive Thru as a joint release and that makes it complicated as far as money and other things. I'm kinda thinking it's like the situation Drive Thru had with Ace Enders and Vagrant "buying" his contract but still having it as a dual release. That's the biggest update I've heard in a long while so it atleast seems like IATA will have a big year in 2010. Thoughts?

We're not really sure yet....Rumor has it (haha) that DT has got serious money issues, so im not sure if unless we all donated money anything would happen.

Well, Their record label Drive Thru has something to do with it we know that, however we don't exactly know all the details of the situation. If I had to guess, Drive Thru's money issues have something to do with it.
