I wrote this when I was terribly bored in math class. I don't really know what the fuck it's about, well actually I do. It's about refusing to see truths that are right in front of your face. It's decent at best, be as critical as you wish.
A mark in time
A step in place
A pillar broken
A lost race
A broken line does define
what is now yours and once was mine
Can't you see through your fingers when you cup your hands over your eyes?
Can't you see us through the cloth when you tie the blindfold to hide your sight?
This sketch of a line,
one day you'll see through your blinds
X-Ray vision seems possible these days
though the risk of radiation will leave you permanently blind
But wouldn't you want to see through your fingers when you cup your hands over your eyes?
But wouldn't you want to see us through the cloth when you tie the blindfold to hide your sight?
Fin.
