The Canadian Supreme Courts just ruled (this week) that Tobacco companies can now be held responsible for the healthcare costs of Canadian's who have gotten cancer through smoking, British Columbia is the first province to take advantage of this and are sueing (not sure for how much). Ontario faces 1 Billion Dollars in healthcare associated with cancers annually, so it'll suck so hard for the tobacco industry if every province sues hahaha.

I think that it's a stupid reason. I mean, should we sue tanning salons for giving people skin cancer or what about people suing McDonalds because they were fat pieces of lard? It's not the companies fault that you don't have any strength.

But since tabacco companies suck and I hate cigarettes, rock on!

Whatever the reasons, more power to them.

Those cases are definitely appropriate.

I wonder how many people that work in tabacco companies actually smoke cigarettes. Hahaha.
