i could watch it :shrug:. The only thing I see wrong with this idea is that the Fed is a privately held organization and there are far too many people benefiting from their existence to let this happen. The US government could, on the other hand, decide that they do not want to utilize them anymore (which would be beneficial) but I don't really see this happening. Perhaps I don't know enough about the entire workings of this to give a better reason for it not to work but it sounds good to me. The part that kind of lost me was the idea about paying off the debt with debt-free Notes. I would certainly like more clarification of how exactly this would work, but otherwise it sounds like a great idea overall.
