For me, it was All-American Reject's "Move Along" I remember when they debuted it on their website to absolutely no fanfare, I literally listened to it 10 times in a row... I haven't done that with any song since.

I'll probably pick up their new album eventually... because yes, it is catchy!

Although, their self-titled debt holds a special place in my heart. It's their best album imo (and I'm not usually one to say that about debuts!)

Zao - Parade of Chaos

That album is much catchier than anything by AAR, and it's a metalcore album.

That's what I was thinking... At least the Beach Boys and the Beatles have come up since then. Definite step up. Like I said before, I think Zao's Parade of Chaos is catchier than anything in AAR's song catalogue.

I don't disagree, but there is a certain catchiness to Parade of Chaos. I mean, the title track has no clean vocals, and I still find myself singing it in my head after listening to the song.

Today, while in the midst of a seemingly unending wait at the bank, a fat person in front of me was blaring that "Swing" song from his iPod earbuds. Based solely on the one instance in which I witnessed an overweight person listening to All American Rejects, I think it's more than evident that only fat people like this band. It's an airtight scientific fact at this point. If you disagree, it's because you're fat.

So you're the guy who, upon walking into work during absolutely horrendous weather, to which your co-worker greets you with a humorous comment to the effect of "so, that's some great weather we're having, huh?" you tilt your head, glare at him and indignantly say "it's really shitty out. In general, the Beatles are better than The Kinks, but I find myself gravitating towards and enjoying the Kinks more as well.

EDIT - Admittedly, I'm the first to recognize and appreciate the profound impact The Beatles had on Pop Music, but I've never been partial to their music (though I love Harrison and Lennon's solo work)
