I never really realized how rampant myspace 'whoring' is until I saw that. I did it for shits and giggles and then like 5 hours later I had 50 new friend requests. Ok, so I added them all thinking - hmm, maybe they'll buy a shirt or something. But the only thing that happened is my bulletin space is always packed full of those same users posting "whore me" or "add this girl" or variations therof.
I can understand a band or business trying to recruit as many fans or potential customers as possible, but why are 14-16 year old kids trying to get a million friends? And then making bulletins saying "I have 600 friends and no commentz!!! Plz comment!" Haha it's too funny. But now my bulletin space is spammed.
