All in all...

I was shocked to see they aren't playing in Chicago or New York City! So I talked to Rise Against's management and they said that they maybe will play in New York City on July 26th or July 27th but they haven't figured it out quite yet. So if you don't see your city listed, don't worry!

just-in.

hmm why is Pop's doing this one Outdoors? The only other show I've heard of them having outside was the Sounds of the Underground tour, and that was only because it was a festival lineup.

Here's a few simple reasons why you didn't see this posted here: #1) The tour does not start for months, #2) this was posted as news on Friday and this isn't the news/general section of the forum. Good job!

Makes sense to me, Rise Against is more relevant to the 16-24 year old age bracket.

Ah, figured as much. Do you know what venues they were looking at for NYC?

No, but I would be guessing the Roseland Ballroom because they've had previous shows there, including there most recent show last year. If not the Roseland Ballroom, most likely Irving Plaza.

I'm hoping they play a show at Revolution Live down here before or after the Orlando Shows. The crowd was on fire last time they were down here with Gaslight Anthem and Alkaline Trio

Um, Rancid and both Rise Against could sell out Roseland on their own and Irving Plaza is much smaller. It's probably Hammerstein Ballroom.

That's what I was thinking too. DEFINITELY not Irving for sure.

Haha yeah tell me about it. I'm pretty stoked to be beating the traffic myself.

Although I read that this is actually a co-headlinging tour.

I'm surprised they don't flip-flop each night but whatever...

That's what I assumed was happening. I read somewhere it was co-headlining which to me always mean they flip flop. Who knows though.

rancid should headline this tour. theres no question that if its not coheadlining this is ass backwards. rancid are legends to the scene and have been around for years, rise against is just recently gaining momento over the past few years.

and also....i dont think rancid's new album is EVER coming out. when i saw them over the summer lars said it was coming out soon, and there still has been no details.

it seems obvious to me, they can hold more people on the outside stage and rancid alone headlined two nights at pops. with rise against too this show will sell lots of tickets.
