Really? Im going for DGD, and their shows get pretty crazy. I remember the last date of the party star tour, or whatever it was called. Will got off his guitar and screamed the last part of Times New Roman with the crowd. krazy stuff

Last time I saw DGD, they didn't play a single track off Downtown Battle Mountain. Although I do love me some Lemon Meringue Tie, I think the self-titled album was a huge improvement , so I didn't mind the absence of the DBM staples. I'm going to the A Skylit Drive/Dance Gavin Dance/Closure In Moscow show at the Black Sheep on March 12th, I'll be throwing the setlist up for DGD definitely. And as a side note, A Skylit Drive are terrible.

In Fear and Faith when I saw them open for Gwen Stacy was pretty freakin good
DGD is ok
Skylit Drive...BLEEHHHHH Not a fan, and I saw them open for August Burns Red. It wasnt good
Foe the people requesting Attack!Attack! setlists.. My friend saw them 3 times this year and said there setlist is the same all the time. I just saw them 2 days ago and the setlist went a lil something like this (in no specific order)
Hot Grills & High Tops
Stick Stickly
Bro Ashleys Here
Party Foul
Shred White and Blue
The Peoples Elbow
Catfish Soup

I saw DGD the night before they kicked him out of the band for good. He was a real jerk, no matter how good of a vocalist he seemed to be. I waved to him from afar after the show, and he flipped me off.
Believe me, despite the shit they're going through right now, they're a lot better off.

Saw Dance Gavin Dance tonight at the Black Sheep in Colorado Springs, CO. Closure In Moscow were pretty cool too, but I left after DGD played, had no desire whatsoever to watch A Skylit Drive.
Setlist 03/12/2009:
Untitled
And I Told Them I Invented Times New Roman
Burning Down The Nicotine Armoire Pt. 2
Me And Zoloft Get Along Fine
Tree Village (NEW SONG)
Uneasy Hearts Weigh The Most
Buffalo!
Rock Solid
They've supplemented Buffalo! with a new ending (which left me with mixed feelings), but in the process they've taken out the entire "Hello my name is Jon fucking Mess..." refrain, to my disappointment. The new song which I believe is called Tree Village sounded promising, the new album is definitely something I look forward to.

the song at the end of buffalo is the first song on our new cd.
it's pretty sweet because we change our set like every night from a pool of songs we have. basically on that tour we'll be playing a mix of about 7-8 of these songs depending on how we feel:
and i told them...
alex english
burning down pt 2
robot pt 3
tree village (new song)
buffalo + new song
lemon meringue tie
the backwards pumpkin song
me and zoloft
uneasy hearts
rock solid
hopefully skyhook
and maybe another new song..
it's so fun changing songs every night. we havent toured in a while since we just finished recording our new album so it's nice getting back on the road again. there is nothing like playing live.

Zac! That's pretty awesome how you're giving fans a look at what might be played. I caught you guys at the Colorado Springs show at the Black Sheep, I gave Will two bowls of "deathstar cookies", did he ever share them with the rest of the band?

I lol'd.
My friends and I are going to this show, and leaving after I See Stars / Attack Attack! / In Fear And Faith all play simply because we don't feel like waiting through all of Dance Gavin Dance's set just to see A Skylit Drive. In Fear And Faith is the best band on this tour to begin with. I am stoked to see the first three bands... and I'm hoping I See Stars gets to play later in the night when they come to Michigan because of how many hometown fans they have here... that's what happened when they played with The Number 12... although, I was kind of disappointed because I had to sit through their miserable set.

Everyone put on a good show last night but that crowd was fucking awful. Lost of high/drunk kids who only wanted to start fights. The pit wasn't very fun. More shoving than dancing (not a good thing). Dance Gavin Dance impressed the hell out of me. They have really matured and stood out from the rest of the bands for their different sound and more "jazz rock" feel. Great energy. I'm glad they ditched the Battle Mountain stuff because it wouldn't have fit with their set. Besides, bands should definitely ditch music they recorded with different members at live show. Be your own band, not one people remember and say that "it used to be better with johnny. waaaaaaaaa!" :) IFAF was amazing too but they always put on a great show. Seen em 6 times and always fun. The rest were fine but i'm sick of the screamo scene. It all sounds the same now. :/ meh. Still had fun. Stoked for the new DGD record now!

Attack Attack! needs to change it up a bit, they haven't had time off to rehearse any new songs to play live, but those are getting old for people who've seen them a couple times or more.
Times New Roman is the only song by DGD that I, and probably a bunch of others have ever heard or liked by DGD. In my opinion it stands out from the rest of their songs, and the fact that they wouldn't play it is kind of strange. Clearly it's a favorite if you take into account the amount of plays on their myspace player, and that's generally rather accurate as to popularity of a song. But again, just my opinion.
A Skylit drive pretty much nailed it with that set, can't expect much more when there's 5 bands playing.
In Fear and Faith, we can expect:
Pirates - The Sequel
Your World on Fire
The Taste of Regret
Live Love Die
The Road To Hell (Maybe Strength in Numbers, or nothing instead)
Gangsta's Paradice
I See Stars we can expect:
3D
Save The Cheerleader
What This Means To Me
Project Wakeup
The Common Hours

Did you not see the setlist I posted? It's not from the exact same tour, but it's close enough since they were with A Skylit Drive. And not to mention the "pool of songs" that Zac posted on the fourth page?

Alright setlist, i'd be excited for it though. I kind of wish there was more stuff from Downtown.
The lack of Alex English and older stuff disappoints me.
Me too. Alex English is one of my favorite DGD songs, if not my favorite song.
I can't wait till next sunday when I see these dudes! :)

wow asd setlist is pretty shitty, need more songs and stick to the new stuff, new vocalist is better.
could give a shit about dgd and pretty mad that they aren't playing the times roman song.
attack attack are alright but they seem to me to be very over rated and the screamo electronic scene is crowded nowadays.
i see stars are amazing and put on great shows, pumped to see them.
in fear and faith are great live too
in portland maine they have added a local band to this show and its already sold out. i wonder why everyone is pumped for this tour up here in maine?

I'm a fan of both but
Hasn't Attack Attack! been in that scene longer than I See Stars?

went to the show last night at the launch pad
aka 3rd floor of the brunswick hotel
the venue was shitty, it was like a conference room they put a stage in, rather than the chameleon club where it was supposed to be, but i guess that isnt the bands fault idk
anyway dance gavin dance dissapointed me
they didnt even play me and zoloft get along fine
or lemon meringue tie, or and i told them i invented times new roman
Im Felling this

I went to the show in philly. Besides the fire alarms going off it was an awesome night and all the bands were really really nice.
I see stars:
Save The Cheerleader
Project Wakeup
3-D
What This Means to Me
The Big Bad Wolf
The Common Hours
In fear and faith:
Pirates the sequel
Your World on fire
Strength in numbers
gangsters paradise
live love die
i didn't watch attack attack. I know they opened with their intro and stick stickly. The venue was so hot about half the kids walked out to chill outside. then the fire alarms went off and dance gavin dance started:
alex english
me and zolof
Tree Village
Buffalo!
new song from happiness
Skyhook
Uneasy Hearts
Rock Solid
a skylit drive: (best band by far)
Im not a theif im a treasure hunter
eris and dysonomia
all it takes for your dreams to come true
Hey nightmare, where did you get your teeth
In the begining there was void
knights of the round
wires and the concept of breathing

Kinda hoping they'd play something from DBM, but I understand why they're not.
Also, no Taste Of Regret? fffffff

I enjoy the new stuff better for the most part anyways. Also, its kind of tough to play music from an album that has completely different vocalists live.

Jonny did a lot more than Kurt can maintain on a tour. I wouldn't say that their completely different, but Jonny's got more range.
