And the Early November's set at Warped Tour 06 was way better than that. Any band has a good shot at beating that
Yeah, TEN was the best band I've seen live

Great call, I saw them play between In Reverie and Sound The Alarm and it was like 8 songs of Through Being Cool, All of SWYA, and Jesse and My Whetstone. And that was also probably the best set I've seen a band play..

That's the cool thing to do. Nothing better to get kids pumped than a "sick" breakdown. To be honest, if I were ever in a band (which would never be a metalcore band or any other similar style), I'd probably want an opening breakdown, more or less just to parody scene bands.
My favorite live set was probably the Dustin Kensrue show on the "Where's the Band?" tour. He opened with "Artist in the Ambulance," which is one of my all-time favorite songs ever (the slight redundancy was intentional), and he played every song from his solo album except for "Weary Saints." He also had some quality covers (like "Hospital Beds"), as well as two other Thrice songs, which are also favorites of mine: "A Song For Milly Michaelson" (which was my favorite song released last year and a big surprise) and "Stare at the Sun."
Granted, I'm a stupid little Thrice fanboy, so that probably helped.

Hot Rod Circuit's last show comes to mind. They played songs from all of their albums and brought out old members and just did an all around great set. I can't even list all the songs they played. It was so long.
.moneen. has never disappointed me.
The last time I saw The Early November, they played Fluxy which was more than enough for me.
Tonight I'm going to see Jimmy Eat World play Clarity straight through, so thats a guaranteed great set.
Frightened Rabbit acoustic playing all off The Midnight Organ Fight.
Thats it for now, I'm sure I have more.
And the Devil Wears Prada is one of the most awful bands in the history of music.
can't remember the best sets, but the best concerts i've been to are:
1. The Beloved opening for mewithoutYou opening for Norma Jean in a tiny 100 person club right after BTMKTC and [A->B] Life came out.
2. Zao opening for Every Time I Die opening for Dillenger Escape Plan
3. The Strokes actually, they put on an incredible show that lasted forever. about 20 songs or more

Rage Against the Machine at Coachella 07'. That was easily the most epic/awesome show I've ever witnessed. There were people from all over the world watching that band, and no band I've seen has had that much energy live. When they stepped on stage, and Zack introduced the band for the first time in like 7 years, the crowd went insane. Once Testify started, I got pushed back like 30+ feet from the stage instantly. Easily the craziest crowd I've been in, and definitely the best show I've been to.

It was phenominal. Like they played songs in order of release and would have the line up from that era on stage for it. For the end they had everyone up on stage. There were like 4 guitars, tons of singing, two drummers. I have a set list from that night in my room at home. I'll post it when I go back. I'm still heartbroken over their break up.

God I wish I were going to the Clarity tour.
So so so good. One of the best shows I've seen in a long while. The band was great and the crowd reminded me of how shows used to be. Everyone there knew what the tour was for. It was a mixed crowd, mostly older but there were some young kids. I was half expecting some dumb kid to yell out The Middle or something like that, but no. They weren't obnoxious. There was some movement but for the songs that call for it like Crush and Blister. A very nostalgic show, both for the music and the concert experience. I wonder what ever happened to shows like this.

I've been in to greenday from about the age of 11 but they've always seemed to evaded me when they tour(either not that into them at the time or too young to have seen them) I'm hoping they play reading this year if not hoping they do their own tour

I don't save set-lists, and I can't go from memory, but seeing the last TEN show in Toronto was pretty epic for me. I bet it was largely because they had already announced they were finished. I was sad that I didn't hear '1000 Times a Day', but other than that, it was an awesome show.

I wonder what ever happened to shows like this.
took the words out of my mouth, probably the best show i've been to, it was pretty funny though when some guy screamed jimmy eat world when reuben accomplished(or w.e. their name was) was playing
clarity cover to cover, how can you top that?

Haha, yeah. The band handled it like champs though. Kudos to them.
Seriously though, after Goodbye Sky Harbour, I could have left right there and called it a night and it would not have diminished the show for me at all. The encore was an added bonus. One of the best shows I've gone to in a long time.

I think the favorite show i've seen was either the devil wears prada at bamboozle 2007 or the from first to last come back show at bamboozle 2007. I've seen each band since then but here are their set lists from memory.
TDWP
Opening Break down (reptar king of the ozone breakdown)
Modify The Pronunciation
Texas Is South
Rosemary Had an Accident
Gauntlet of solitude
HTML Rulez d00d
Dogs Can't Grown Beards all Over
This was before plagues came out and today i wish they played more songs off of dear love instead of just heavily push plagues.
FFTL
Note To Self
New song (the other side)
Kiss Me I'm Contagious
new song (deliverance)
Dead Baby Kickball
Ride The Wings of Pestilence
it was a good show not gonna lie.

Now, I admittedly have only been to three legitimate shows, so my sample size is pretty poor, but of the three, Brand New in Calgary 07 was the best set I've seen.

They put on a superb show for us in Canada. We were totally spoiled with their stage presence and level of energy.
