Most underrated band ever. And they are probably the nicest guys around, and I am not just saying that like people say it about every band. Spitalfield rules.

You know I just learned a couple of weeks ago that Spitalfield is really from Glen Ellyn. Add them to local band scene.

haha this place is amazing, wheaton grand that is. i live in the city and i just went down there last night for this small show and i was amazed at not only the town but how small this place is. i felt like i was in a hallmark movie.

gonna be an amazing show though, definitely worth the drive. anytime bob nanna is in the room, i'll be there hoping he pulls out an acustic version of any braid/hm song.

i miss their old sound :(. i really liked it when they sounded like old pop/emo bands like t.g.u.k

Downtown37
10/03/05, 08:19 PM
they sound more like those "older" pop bands now than they did on RRN- which in my opinion was way more "produced" and crystal clear sounding.

there new album is very good, but remember right now just does it for me, its one of my favorites ever, i would love to see them play a show with a whole bunch of songs off that cd

spitalfield is by far one of the best bands i've heard live. they've just got something that makes them stand out and sound phenomenal as they entrance the crowd and take them to an entirely different place. if i lived in illinois, i'd so be there. i went to a spitalfield concert recently and they played all they're old stuff with some new stuff...but they're remember right now cd is fucking awesome

That sounds like an awesome lineup. It must be weird to see a "former" member playing when he hasn't even been out of the band that long.

That's really cute, considering I'm pretty sure Spitalfield are pretty big Braid fans ( I recall a year or two ago seeing a Braid sticker on one of their amps ). I'm sure playing with Bob Nanna is a wet dream for them.
