So their new single "Zero" is definitely different than what I expected. At the same time, I think this is a great transition into the mainstream (I don't think their really at the mainstream yet) with a great dance track. Karen O still has the ability to hit the high notes and come off as extremely passionate about what she sings.

Any thoughts?

I like the beat. It's not what I expected, but this single makes me want to buy the album. It's got a little Scissor Sisters feel to it, and I love her voice. You're definitely right about the high notes. Usually I don't like music with that kind of singing, but I really like this song. When's the release date?

Smashing Pumpkin's Zero is better though, but that's just to be expected.
