New Gainesville,Fl label Sound Study Recordings will continue their "Live at the Atlantic" 7" vinyl series with volume two featuring OFF WITH THEIR HEADS. Richard Minino, better known as Horsebites will be handling the artwork. The 7" will be two live tracks recorded at the Atlantic on December 16th. 2008. Songs are "I Am You" and "Go On Git Now".
Next they will be releasing a 7" for Gainesville's AVERKIOU. The 7" will feature two new tracks recorded by Ryan Williams and artwork by the amazing Kyle Borchgardt. Songs are "Wasted and High" and "You Wouldn't Be Here." "You Wouldn't Be Here" can be heard on the band's myspace page. (myspace.com/averkiou). Averkiou released "Throwing Sparks" via Claire Records last year.
Both releases are being released in April 2009.
They are also still hard at work on the FEST 7 edition of the "Live at the Atlantic" series. The plan is to release a 12" and will feature live songs recorded during FEST 7 from some of their favorite bands that played at the Atlantic during the event last year. Also in the works is a split 7" with Liquid Limbs and City of Ships. Expect these May/June 2009.
The label previously released last year the Liquid Limbs debut album "Orquid" and "Live at the Atlantic Vol. 1" that was a split live 7" between Army of Ponch and Young Livers.
