So I originally went tonight b/c a good friend of mine loves bleed the dream and she needed to get out for the night due to relationship issues.

But... I had an awesome time.

I liked Bleed the Dream and Roses are Red and have the cds on my iPod and what not... but it wasn't something I'd listen to on a regular basis. They now will be.
And Stutterfly... I thought they were going to suck a bunch of cock, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The name still sucks though.

Did any other STL kids go tonight? Or has anybody else been to this show?

No, but I did get to see those crazy bastards that are Emery tonight. I was absolutely amazed by their live show. Intense would be an understatement. They even outshone Gatsbys tonight! (only because Bobby couldn't make the show and their keyboardist guy covered for him). Emery though.....WOW.

I weep for you. Haha, my buddy and I had to stand outside the el torreon for like an hour in the freezing cold waiting to get in tonight. They must've been having some technical difficulties or something, 'cause the doors opened some 30 minutes late. Completely worth it though...

I wish I could have gone. Grah. Frustrating. Oh well. I get to see Thrice, so I'll just look forward to that.

Singer's voice is amazing... if you've listened to the acoustic EP... not sure if I think it's Asleep... he sounds like that EP... Their bass players vocals shocked me, he does not look like a guy that can hit high notes but he can and he did. Um Broken Wings was the highlight of the show RIP S.G. was on the back of the bass and he held it up at the end, so sad. Should Have Known was dedicated to a 5 year old because it is her favorite song of theirs. They have the old style mic which made me very happy. The singer was on the ground singing for a little while. And they are all around a band who really enjoys what they are doing and it shows.

Ha. I just painted the entire picture almost. Oh and their singer grinds on the mic stand and does weird little dances.

Edit: And the guitar player from Stutterfly came out to scream at the end. With his infamous buttcrack hanging out of his girl jeans...

I don't really like the music but it's not horrible or anything. I had to see them live a couple months back because I was doing an interview iwth them and they are suuuuuuuuuch nice guys and super funny and they also put on this really great live show. They are just so genuine and totally believe in what they are playing.

Yep. Their music is alright. But they know what they're doing out there.

After the show when I saw them the singer was messing around and was kidding with this girl and accidently punched her in the face (when he meant to pretend and stop a few inches in front of her face), and was like, hugging her and apologizing the rest of the night, and gave her free stuff.

yeah thats totally them. at the show they played here, the venue kicked them out super fast after they played because they had a late show starting soon so they got all their fans that hadn't bought merch or get autographs or pictures or whatever yet to go out back to the parking lot so they could help them there and they spent like an hour and a half just hanging out with all these kids. it's was cool.
