I highly recommend you all head over and check out Jeff Finley's Mylkhead Merch (http://www.mylkheadmerch.com). Jeff is an amazing artist, and he just recieved his first run of t-shirts. The designs look fantastic, and I figured i'd let our readers know about it. If you see something you like, show your support and help Jeff out by purchasing a shirt. Also, you can check out the design portion of Jeff's project here (http://www.mylkhead.com).

I loved the poster he did for Take Cover. I absolutely despised the font on that poster, it looked like it was done in Microsoft Word. I think his stuff is decent, but the name of this company is absolutely horrible in my opinion.
Is that too much? How much would you pay? $8 at most. It's a piece of paper.

Clarification to defend my case, the font was bad. I admit. But Acceptance really wanted me to "recreate" the whole Mad Max poster and the text was pretty much the same way. And they also changed some of the text when they used the ad in magazines and stuff.
In my opinion not my best work. But I did what I could. Still, Jimmy Stewart from Crush Mgmt was still really cool about things and was a great client.
Mylkhead - the name - if you realized the personal significance of the name you would understand. It's explained in the FAQ on my site. And also, I have heard nothing but good things about the branding and how people "wish they thought of it." Which is what you try to do when you establish a brand. When honestly, I wasn't thinking about branding when the name was derived. It feels like it's my own name and not some phony name I created to sound catchy or something so kids would buy into it. I am hoping it works the other way around.
$8 for a poster? It costs me $5 just to print it and ship it. Let alone the hours of time it takes to create it.

I'd say $8 as well probably?
$15-18 sounds reasonable for tshirts, but not paper dude. It's good stuff though.

Well, based on what other artists are selling their posters for and the shipping/printing cost is included. Because I print them per order. So if I get an order, I run to Staples or Kinkos and print off a copy, buy a mailing tube, and send it first class. It's like $5-6 bucks just to do that.
And the manager of the Junior Varsity said $15 plus $3 shipping was good for a laser print. He bought my Piebald poster.
Have you ever been to a poster show? They sell their posters out of their booth for $20 + and I see this is a good price. But I can lower the price to about $12 (including shipping) - how's that?
EDIT: those prints on the FBR site were really cheap because it wasn't the artist selling his prints as fine art. There is a difference there. When something is mass produced, it can be sold cheaper and it's value is reduced. If you did buy a print, it would be one of only a few.
