This really annoys me especially when it's news that is at least 2 hours old.

I think if it's something big, like 9/11 or some shit, then that's an exception. For the most part, though, I'd say probably two hours. I'm with you, though. That gets so annoying.

I picked an hour but I think I'm actually leaning more towards the half hour mark. If it's breaking news I'd assume it just happened and is so important it has to be noted right away. If you wait an hour or more how urgent is this breaking news?

i went a half, but i really think "breaking news" implies that its still developing. So really after the incident has occured i dont consider it to be breaking news anymore, its rather recent news... that being said i was the lonely vote for half hour

to me, breaking news is something which is happening right now, or has just happened. i think if its more than a half hour later then it is no long breaking.

Fuck the news. Its mainly just negativity and depressing shit II don't need to hear. Fuck all the papers and shit for sensastionalizing negativity and violence. For instance in Oct I was watching tv around 8 and in one hour the same upcoming news commercial came on 5 times. It was for some women being raped and then killing her children. I didn't need to hear that 5 tiimes and only the people it affected need to know about it anyways.I never watch the never news anymore but read a few local stories in the newspaper a week and maybe a national article a week on google. All I really read is music and movie news because that all I care about
