For those that don't know, Missy Higgins is an award-winning Australian singer-songwriter. She has sold over 1 million records. Her songs are very well written, and it doesn't hurt that she is hot. Missy played an amazing show in a smaller venue with a smaller crowd and it was amazing.
She mentioned that she and the band went to the beach earlier in the day and got sunburned and had a great time. She had a special moment when she took out her camera and videotaped a birthday message to a friend back in Australia. The band performed a little birthday jingle and filmed the crowd while we sang along. Hopefully that helps her keep St. Petersburg a place where she enjoys returning.
People were calling out songs from the crowd and Missy and the band jumped right into the requests. You don't get to see that happen too often. I usually go to rock/punk concerts, but this was a great performance and actually is in my top 5 of all time.
