I'm trying to find new bands to get into. I was hoping someone here could help me out.

Here are some of my favorite bands:

Rancid
Operation Ivy
Bouncing Souls
Dropkick Murphys
Flogging Molly
NoFX
Dead Kennedys
the Misfits
Street Dogs
Leftover Crack/Choking Victim

That's about all I can think of off the top of my head.

This could be a stretch, but I like a lot of those bands and right now I like P.O.S. He started out doing punk, then got into hip-hop, then he kinda fused them. Give him a try.

Just look at what labels those bands are on, and then look at the other bands on the label.

What is it that you like about all of those bands? The speed? The lyrics? That's a relatively diverse list y'got going on there.

But if you're into Flogging Molly and the Dropkick Murphy's? Try the Tossers.

On the Rancid/Op. Ivy/Leftover Crack tip? Give the Suicide Machines a chance. And Jaya the Cat.

For bands that sound like NOFX? Go for Strung Out, Strike Anywhere, Lagwagon, Bad Religion, or pretty much any other bands that were on Fat Wreck Chords or Epitaph in the mid-nineties.

If you're into the Souls, I'd go for...Against Me, Hot Water Music, Lifetime, Let Me run, the Loved Ones, the Gaslight Anthem, yadda-yadda.

Def. try Suicide Machines, The Glaslight Anthem and The Tossers. Yes they were mentioned but I'm re-enforcing them.

If you like Ska/Ska Punk whatever you wanna call it try Less Than Jake, Streetlight Manifesto,Mad Caddies.

Also you might want to try Time Again. They sound like Rancid to me. Also try The Distillers and Tsunami Bomb if you like female fronted bands. The Unseen and Anti Flag are both good.
