I'm so bored...

Can someone give me some good music to listen to? I'm not getting into music lately, and I need some new bands to check out.

I like The Faint, The Dead Kennedys, Beck, The Mars Volta, most psychobilly, P.O.S., Daft Punk, Tool, Mastodon, The Eagles of Death Metal, System of a Down, Tegan and Sara... I like a lot of stuff. Just not Country.

Portugal. The Man - don't know if they will be your sort of thing or not but i recommended them to a guy in my politics class and he thought they were cool, they draw some similarities to TMV vocally in their latest album Censored Colors.

Grammatics - very unique and superb indie band from Leeds, their self titled album is about to drop (it has leaked if you want to try before you buy) it's definitely an early contender for AOTY for me, they are going places.

The Dear Hunter - i think i remember someone describing these guys as a Mars Volta light, which i think is a fair representation of some aspects of their music. they are basically a cool concept band that fuses a lot of different influences and music styles together - check them out.

Nirvana- I know. Come on. Who doesn't?
VersaEmerge- Not my thing, but my buddy is really into them.
Senses Fail- ...no.
Set It Off- Good song by Skindred, but I've never checked out the band.

Senses Fail isn't really my thing. Neither is the Secret Handshake.

The Pragmatic are alright. A little too calm for my mood right now, but w/e.

Tom Waits - Blues (But he's really awesome, different sounds on every album, one sounds like circus music or something :/)
