you guys know what im talking about... the 1 song on every cd that just slows the entire cd down. Doesnt necessarily have to strictly acoustic like the other post, but just mellow songs from anything like Hold My Heart-Letter Kills to On My Own -The Used to Amtrak is for Lovers-Houston Calls. I like the ones that are catchy.

i appreciate american football very much sir... and yes they would make for some good slow songs.

i will still suggest...

deftones - digital bath & change (in the house of flies)

...both are from their album "white pony".

(i dusted it off recently... still a classic)

wait... "did he just say that he knew who american football is, and then suggested something by the deftones too?!"

I could recommend a lot of the stuff said prior, but in an attempt to branch out a little more:

The Decemberists - "Here I Dreamt I was an Architect"
The Decemberists - "Of Angels and Angles"
Gary Jules - "Mad World"
Aaron Sprinkle - "What Sorry Can Be"
Most Sigur Ros songs.
Bloc Party - "This Modern Love"
Doves - "Snowden"
Mute Math - "Progress"

Yep yep.
