Emanuel is awesome live, and I love their CD, but I've seen them way too many times. This is either their 4th or 5th time playing in Kansas City just this year. Say Anything, on the other hand, hasn't played here in forever.

I've seen Emanuel a few times before and they haven't let me down yet, so I think they're a pretty good replacement.

I'm still really upset Say Anything dropped of the tour, but this is good even though I've never really listened to much Emanuel.

Rumor has it, Say Anything are losing a lot of other tour offers due to the fact that Max isn't reliable. It would make sense, just because I wouldn't blame other agents for not taking a chance on him, whether it's in his control or not. Sad.

I don't think it's that bad off a trade off. I love Say Anything but Emanuel has always put on a good show when I've seen them so I'm not that upset.

On their site it looks as though they cancelled a European tour to be on this one.

Best quote yet. I know its nobodys fault but I feel so bad to Max. There is no way I could have my band open for that tour with having some sort of panic attack. Even if they turn into a studio band like THe Sound of Animals Fighting, I'll still be happy. Max, feel better!!!

some of these posts are kind of whack. i dont think anyone realizes that these bands work their asses off to be on tour for us and as much as we might not like a band, but people actually hoping bands will drop to make them happier? jsut dont watch teh band, theres always a "getaway" place from the actual music hall at a venue if you dont want to watch the band. terrible for say anything, hope max gets better, and this is HUGE for emanuel!!!

this is the best news i have heard since it was announced that Say Anything was dropping off.....this lineup is 100x better now with Emanuel on it....i think they are one of the most underated bands out there right now, true rockers

I don't understand anyone that still isn't extremely excited to see this. With or without SayAnything, you get to see SAVES THE DAY and while you're there you also get to see the early november as an added bonus. You really can't lose....its SAVES THE DAY we are talking about people.

Wasn't trying to be a "tard", but the phrase:
"We would like to announce that we have been added to the Saves the Day/Senses Fail coheadlining tour" is pretty much self-explanatory. True, it doesn't say anything about them filling in for Say Anything, but I would hope the dots would connect easily enough.

A couple of things.
I understand you're upset. I am too, but here's the deal. Don't type in all caps. It just gets annoying. Also type words, don't use numbers. It just irritates people. And really you can't blame anyone. Max is in the hospital. What do you want him to do? Go play the show just because you haven't seen them?
