Anyone know of any free (or ripped) programs to slow down music for learning licks. I don't have access to torrent sites on campus, so any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean programs like guitar pro or power tabs?

Not tabs. I'm looking for a program to play a song at a slower speed without changing the pitch

I typically don't use that terrible program. How do you do it?

You can also do it a bit in Audacity, but it starts skipping after about a 25% decrease.

My guitar teacher uses something called the amazing slow-downer. I don't know if that's what it's really called but it seems pretty easy to use and works fine.

Edit: http://www.ronimusic.com/ I guess that's where you can get it. I think its free.

There is this program called "The Amazing Slower Downer" which slows down the song without changing pitch but it has the option to change pitch if you want to. Im pretty sure it's like 40 bucks.

How do you go about doing that on garageband?
I haven't figured it out yet lol.
