disney or my band?

So I wrote this song for my band a while back, and my friend's dad really liked it. So he called his friend who was putting together a band with a couple teenagers and he writes the music and the band plays it. The guy has gotten a lot of attention from Disney and they are going to want to back-up the band, and support it. Now my friend and I are in this Disney band, and the song I had written for my other band the Disney band wants to use it.
I don't know if i should go along with letting them use it, or not. I get more credebility for writing music if I go through with it, or if I don't I have a really good song for my band.

Any suggestions?

We're just being backed by them, but we (as far as i know) get to write all the songs. Who knows, maybe we will be in a movie.
