Ludo (http://www.purevolume.com/ludo) - I just came across this band, and the two new songs on their purevolume are super awesome. The band's concept (a character who attempts to travel through time to save a lost lover, but ends up in other time periods) and sound is pretty effin cheesy and will probably turn off those who love the serious, but they are so nerdy and fun! If you like the corny story aspect of Coheed or just really good and unique pop punk, check these guys out. Loads of fun, and really rockin tunes. My favorite band of the week, I need to get my hands on this EP.

Sleep Station (http://www.sleep-station.com/) - This band is so smart. All of their albums have deep concepts and heartfelt music. I was listening to After the War recently, and that shit is beautiful. Their new project, New London Fire (http://www.purevolume.com/newlondonfire), is effin amazing as well.

Dashboard (http://www.dashboardconfessional.com/index.cfm/action/music./index.html) - Don't kill me for this, but A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar is actually a really impressive album. Chris is undeniably a fantastic songwriter, and that album is jam packed with gems. Very chill and moving album to relax to. I'm excited to hear what's next.

Rx Bandits (http://www.purevolume.com/rxbandits) - It's amazing how you can listen to things at different points in your life and appreciate them that much more. Call me a deaf retard, but I never realized the overwhelming talent of this band. The Resignation really fucked me up. Decrescendo is crazy shit.

I saw Michael Ian Black thursday night, so I beg everyone to go watch the Stella shorts (http://www.collegehumor.com/features/stella/?section=features&name=stella). I promise even if you didn't like the Comedy Central show, this is the REAL Stella (http://www.collegehumor.com/features/stella/?section=features&name=stella) shit. I also recommend comedian Demetri Martin (http://www.demetrimartin.com/)... saw him recently and he was hilarious. I would say he is a follower of the school of Hedburg, and if you miss Mitch, then check this guy out. Tracy Morgan is a funny motherfucker as well, you wouldn't believe how raunchy his live stuff is. And Carlos Mencia is 10 times better live.

I prefer Chris when he's acoustic, so I haven't really gotten into A Mark, A Brand, A Mission, A Scar but I might try again.

Listen to Vox Trot (http://www.myspace.com/voxtrot)

Honestly, It's so hard for me to choose just one favorite. Each of them are so good on their own and together they are quite possibly the best comedic group ever.

"Ummmm, Did you guys know I have a cock?"
"Mmm yea, I just wanna take that thing into my mouth."

rx bandits are one of the best live bands out there. Matt Embree is/will become a legend. The man writes most of TSOAF, and hearing him improv live...he's sick.

Go see the Insomniac Tour. Greg Geraldo and Dane Cook are probably the 2 funniest comedians out there now. I like dave attell alot too.

I like those guys too, but Stella is just outrageously hilarious to me.
