Hey, the latest update to iTunes is frustrating me to no end. As soon as I updated, my iPod got stuck in recovery mode and I lost everything on it. I had to use iTunes on my laptop to get it out of recovery mode. Then I went to iTunes on my desktop again (the one with v.8.0.2) and everything had been wiped. All my music, playlists, podcasts, apps - everything gone! I started to add back music to the library, exited iTunes for the night, started it up again in the morning and again - everything gone! Literally every time I start iTunes, it's like i've just installed the program for the first time. I've been going through this for like, 2 weeks now. And nothing I've tried works! Also, when I go to My documents >> My music >> iTunes folder, it's empty. No .xml or .itl file that I've seen so many people mention. Just empty. I seriously, seriously regret updating iTunes. Is there any way to go back to a previous version? Or does anyone have any clue at all how to fix this?
Also something to note is that on my laptop, I also have the v.8.0.2 of iTunes, and that does not have the same problems. I can close it and when I start it up again my library is exactly how I left it.
