I figured that since no one has written a thread about Bamboozle 09' that I would.

Anyone going?
Anyone hating the lineup?
Anyone loving the lineup?

I'll be at both this year.

Left is such a let down. I guess after seeing Jimmy, Face to Face, Alkaline Trio, New Found Glory, RXB, TSL, RBF, AAR and a bunch of others on the same day last year.. almost anything they could have put together wouldn't have been as good.

...maybe? But there is no reason why there cannot be one in the Set-list thread. But thank you for your comment.

True but it takes away from the whole idea of a setlist forum because people have to scroll through 28 pages of bullshit such as "Yo, Chiodos totally sucks! Fuck you, Chiodos rules!" to get to any actual setlists.

how much are tickets these days? I went in 2005 and it was $40 per day.....i think that is worth it in my opinion...don't forget the $125 airline ticket and $150 for hotel for three nights haha

$57 per day plus service charges. plus the gas to drive there. atleast i don't bother with hotels. i just crash on random people's floors. there's only 2 bands each day i really like, and a couple i'd enjoy seeing. not worth it at all.

Unesccary thread when we are almost two months away from the festival(s).

It's not made to neccesary, if you don't want to write in it you don't have to. It was made simply to see how people are feeling about the lineup so far and if people are even going, and than when it gets to the time when we are closer it will become neccesary (at least for you).

It's totally unnecessary unless you edit your very first post once the festival happens to update it with setlists so people don't have to scroll through 30 pages of BS.

i love how the schmohawks who make their website send some garbage song blasting through my speakers every time i try to check the lineup in hopes that they actually added some good bands. sorry face to face/NFG/3EB, i just dont think you guys are enough to pull me out this year for the money these people are charging.

So far: Bayside, Innerpartysystem, Enter Shikari, Taking Back Sunday, Parkway Drive, No Doubt, TEB, Patent Pending, Gwar, Closure in Moscow, Sum41, Silverstein, Rise Against, Before Their Eyes, and August Burns Red! I can't wait to see the next announcements.

it's not gonna sound reliable but one of my friends trolls the bamboozle chats and stuff and they gave out hints about who they special guests are and other bands and stuff and apparently he met someone in a band in one of the chats that confirmed there suspicions, i mean it sounds fairly believable, 50 was at left and last year we had bret michaels which is sorta in line with journey, seth rogen's kinda random though, but aperrently they'll be officially announced before saturday anyways?

I liked them since they only had a few tracks on myspace. I know theres alotta people on here and well, everywhere that hate them, but I like them. The thing that kinda sways me toward Gwen Stacy is that Ive seen undead 3 times already and Gwen Stacy only once with this singer and once with the old one.

BUT I think ima hit up Cornerstone when Haste the Day and Gwen Stacy play... so ehh

There are rumors that the special guest is either Journey, 50 Cent, or Seth Rogan.

The only "fake" name is Band of 2010. The speculation is that it's A Day To Remember. They posted a bulletin on Monday stating " New Jersey!! See You Soon *cough cough*" It's a possibility but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

That is really an odd mix of "special guests". The only one that makes remotely any sense is 50 Cent because he was playing some shows with Fall Out Boy. Other than that, I really doubt that Journey is playing and Seth Rogan would be just plain weird.

Seth Rogan said something about Bamboozle on his twitter. Something about a suprise.

Bamboozle gave out numerous hints saying the guest is from the past, played MSG and other arenas, and Dont Stop Believing.

I could definitely see 50 Cent playing, as he has played MSG and the fall out boy tour is Believers Never Die.

People think the Band from 2010 could also be either AvA or Blink, since they said something about Jimmy the Pimp Macbeth.

This is the first year since 2001 that I haven't attended either Bamboozle or Skate and Surf. Maybe I'm too old, but there's really not much on this lineup (besides some older bands like Get Up Kids, Face to Face, The Ataris, NFG and newer ones like Locksley, Owl City) that do anything for me.

But they'll continue to make their money, so there's really no incentive to change it.

okay im BACK FROM BOOZLE! lets see what we got to talk about...

Cash Cash - haha actually pretty fun. I dont know the song titles...but, if you're going to be flamboyant at least go all out. not bad.
Ednas Goldfish - Only ska band of the weekend, other than scotty dont, so you have to take it for it is. Very decent but fun ska, good skank circle to go with. Again, not familiar with song titles so i cant do set list.
Push Play- I was passing by and saw a cover of "Hot n Cold"...cute.
INTERNATIONAL SUPERHEROES OF HARDCORE- Very fun, very funny, great set. They played all the songs you'd expect...Madball/Back to the future/screamo gotta go/ebay. etc. Id love to see them again. Crowd was a little "meh" though.
Bayside- Duality/Boy/Walking Wounded/Devotion and Desire. And like three more...im only familiar with their latest album. I love baysides voice, but i cant hear it live, and its a shame. It was a good time, but im not as familiar with the songs and wasnt really feeling it as much as i could have.
Patent Pending- I missed most of it but they played all the basics plus 2 new songs. MC hammer is playing bamboozle. These guys are getting a bit bland for me.... perhaps its due to the fact that ive seen them 12 times, hah but they're set is never changing. They put on a good show every time and they're always having a lot of fun.
Bloodhound Gang- Did someone say TURN UP THE FUCKING MIC!? Wow...i couldnt hear the lead singer for shit, and it killed the set for me. I loved the song choices... Uhn Tiss/Roof is on fire/Chasey Lain/Vagina/Foxtrot/Bad Touch...but i just couldnt hear anything. The stunt of the lead singer chugging, puking, and drinking it again was classy haha.
Jon Lajoie (comedian)- VERY FUNNY. Me and my friend were just sitting around with nothing to see, so I remembered the comedians at boozle and luckily there was one on. And this guy was actually legit funny, great attitude and all that, thumbs up. Probably the biggest surprise at boozle for me.

then there was nothing to do...Gavin Rossdale played a few BUSH songs, and thats about all I saw. It was time for batting cages what?

NFG- Were these guys the celebrities of the weekend or what? They're just always playing A+ sets...and the crowd is always into them no matter what. Hoodwinked they were amazing, ISOH funny, and NFG perfection. Set list..again pretty typical.... all downhill from here/hit or miss/understatement/intro/failures not flatterin/forget my name/my friends over you/kiss me/Sincerely Me! good set.
Cobra- I liked them better last year..idk why. What do you think they played...ha. oh and he didnt thank the girl from the sounds..very bad.
Asher roth- Vanilla Ice of 2009 baby.
Get Up Kids- I wont judge them..i never got into them, i saw them, but ill leave it at that.
horrorpops- SHES SO COOL!

and then i saw monkeys sit on dogs and run around in circles. haha <3

time for lincs special guest...

A Journey Cover Band (you've been bamboozled)- It wasnt really Journey folks, but stil very cool and fun.
Third Eye blind- Ive seen them before but tonight, wow, were they high? Could they drag out the rock out solo, jumper, semi-charmed life any longer? holy crap. These guys were high they had to have been.
Fall Out boy- Main event. I was tired. I stayed for a bit....they did this whole "political, upper class, economny thing" which i didnt understand at all. Over my head. the crowd wasnt as pumped as i expected, like their luster is dying? Im not sure what it is. No plethora of screaming girls. They were tight though, cant complain.

sunday is a much more fun day...but saturday was a great day too.

It was actually Journey, and with Steve Perry back on vocals too. Fucking awesome.

Razia's Shadow was great too. Also, check out Wicker Hollow tomorrow (today). I saw them on the Zumiez stage and they rocked. So seeing them again.

i think i walked by when wicker hollow was playing. They did a goldfinger cover, am i mistaken?

It wasn't a Filipino dude. The guy was clearly white. I was right up front. Plus I googled pics of Steve Perry and it was him.

okay im BACK FROM BOOZLE! lets see what we got to talk about...

And for the Bloodhound Gang, it wasn't the lead singer who did that, it was the bassist. But later on the bassist did puke in the lead singer's hat then the lead singer immediately put the hat back on.

I don't understand the comment of TGUK's? I mean did you not like them?

Saw Bush...I mean Gavin Rossdale that was pretty cool!
The Get Up Kids-Were great as expected
Journey was pretty sweet but I wanted to hear Open Arms.
NFG was SO GOOD
Third Eye Blind were pretty great but I am glad I caught their headlining tour too. You should do so as well.
Fall Out Boy was so awesome! My set of the night. I guess you had to be all the way up front hanging with your new best friends to dig the itensity.
ISHC were so fun! I'll never forget to wear MY SEATBELT SEATBELT!
Patent Pending were pretty fun.
Cartel was cool! It made me fall in love with Burn This City how this didn't occur sooner I didn't know.
Metro Station were alright from afar.
We the Kings are so catchy it was cool to hear their Jimmy Eat World cover and Skyway Avenue live

so who was "Wonka's Best Friends" today?

yeah, who was wonkas best friend?

anyway, when we got there my friends and I first decided to check out Scotty Don't. Fucking great music and band. We also saw the whole fight in that crowd unfold, pretty funny stuff.
After that we checked out some silverstein, but we'd seen them many times before so we left a little early to get a good spot for sum 41. Sum was great
After sum we saw hollywood undead from afar. I only knew undead, but thats a decent song, and they sounded good.
After this we saw a little bit of the used, who sounded really good. Then we headed over for ADTRs set, they had a lot of energy and pumped the crowd up a lot like usual. After this we saw rise against who were great like usual.
The highlight of the day was TBS' set. My first time seeign them and I loved it. everyone was into it and it was a good setlist.

05/03/09, 10:08 PM
I've been hearing that for years. Frankly, it makes little sense.

The 2005 show in Asbury Park was a nightmare. Anyone who got shut out of the main stage several hours before the headliners during the second day can attest to that. Furthermore, the necessary schedule changes for the third day pitting Flogging Molly against Alkaline Trio and My Chemical Romance against Bouncing Souls also were pretty lame as well. This was a situation unique to Asbury Park and I'm sure Bamboozle's promoters wouldn't want to take a chance of something similar happening again.

Also, they certainly make a ton more money in East Rutherford. Why move it to a location where the capacity is reduced by 4x or even more?

That said, I'd be very interested to see how they'd pull it off if it happens. What I could see more is a scaled down Skate and Surf Festival (in conjunction with, not replacing Bamboozle), perhaps with fewer "scene" bands, such as The Get Up Kids, Sunny Day Real Estate or Face to Face, to headline. That's probably just wishful thinking, though.

Edit: This is directed to the post two above mine.

Bamboozle sucks now a days. Between the $150 tickets, all the 14 year olds, secrete performances, aliases, hoodwinked, same exact line up basically every year, and the sea of parents I opted to skip for the first time this year

Haha, I always debate going every year, but this is always what I imagined, hence why I haven't been. I've just always pictured the negative aspects of warped x10. Tonight I went to NOY/STD/ALK3 in Massachusetts and I think I made the right decision.

They were both amazing. Fireworks had a pretty good turnout. They played a bigger stage. TTNY were on a smaller split stage and had a good crowd in relation to that. They were near the portapotties so whoever was waiting to pee got to hear them too. xD

Well it wasn't even so much that as them relying HEAVILY on strobe lights instead of actual steady blues, greens, and yellows in the lights. Strobes are a photographer nightmare. If you catch one, it blows out the picture. If you don't, you get a black photo with no lighting whatsoever. Total nightmare, and TBS's set had the worst lighting I've seen for a big band in 5 years of doing photos.

I was really hoping TBS would play Timberwolves at New Jersey. But, as per the usual, I left disappointed. That's not to say I didn't enjoy the set, because I did. Also, The Get Up Kids set was the set of the weekend. I didn't think I was going to enjoy No Doubt because I thought I didn't know much of their songs..turned out I knew almost all of them and I had a blast. Other notable bands who were great: Bayside, Set Your Goals, NFG, Hit the Lights, Bless the Fall (one of the better live performances), The Get Up Kids, Third Eye Blind, No Doubt.

Also, did anyone notice Adam through in a bit of Bon Iver's "Skinny Love" during "A Decade Under The Influence"?

the " i asked you to be patience. i asked you to be kind '' part ? wow that's fucking awesome. i was wondering what that was. sweet !

I think most people probably couldn't care less.

Also, not that I like them much at all, but that Boys Like Girls set was terrible. Martin is the classic case of letting success get to his head. He basically just yelled his songs the whole time, acted like a complete d-bag. Someone needs to remind him he's in a band called Boys Like Girls who, once they stop getting CHR/Top 40 hits, will fade into obscurity.

Didn't even bother with them. It's their third year in a row playing Bamboozle with the same damn cd. No care ever.

Definitely the worst set I checked out this year. They played 5 songs... and had a 40 minute set. It was absolutely terrible.

I made that observation as well. I felt so out of place sometimes. Then during TGUK, it was all kids around our age. Most of them were holding beers. It made me feel good inside.

Yeah, though chances are, I pushed in front of people my age right before No Doubt to get up close (yeah, I was that guy). My excuse is mainly "hey, I want get in the middle of the riff-raff so let me get out of your way" to anyone who wants to stand peacefully in the back.

Bands I heard from a distance when I was waiting for other bands or bands I accidentally saw.
International Superheros of Hardcore, Sum 41, Family force 5, TBS, a few more and sadly I got dragged by my peeps to Brokencyde so I decided to act an ass and crowd surf... Then others followed.

I missed Haste the Day and Gwen Stacy which i was super looking foreward to, but at least now I got the Scream the Prayer tour and Cornerstone coming up

There must be something addictive in it. Or maybe it was just the fact that they were shoved in my face every 20 min for 3 days. I don't know.

Someone in my music class had one on their desk and i flipped out and she handed it over cause i think i might have been foaming at the mouth. maybe. They're not even that great, why do I love them so much? It makes no sense :(

In other news I came here to post that Bamboozle 09 was a success. The Get Up Kids are still awesome. Seeing New Found Glory 3 times in 2 days without a single repeat song is very nice. No Doubt was pretty awesome. I got the crush that I had on Gwen Stefani when I was like 6 back.

this was by far the best bamboozle i ever attended (4 out of 5 boozles). This bamboozle offered artists that I dont normally find at bamboozle, and let me catch a variety of acts that I would never normally pay to see live...but they were there, so I got to expand, and it was amazing.

there will be no headliner greater then no doubt (that include blink or green day or radiohead). Maybe there's a generation gap here, but when I was 8 and tragic kingdom came out, it was one of my favorite albums...but i was too young for shows back then, so for me to see a band that i liked when i was 8 live..was truly epic for me. And they played AMAZING, so tight, so cool, SO much fun. Plus, its a band that you dont see at these kind of festivals too often. Sure, is blink and green day awesome? Of course...but ive seen both those bands many times, and its just not the same feeling.

Other AWESOME notables-

- NFG covering GDay was another dream come true. Did you guys SEE that set list? holy crap! So much insomniac, dookie, and angus soundtrack? haha. If green day ever played that set, they'd be gods again.

- Billy Talent, was freaking awesome. Kinda digged the new song. First time i saw them live.

- International Superheroes of Hardcore are hilarious. Any song that starts out with screaming Marty McFly is automaticall numero uno.

- To go along with that..it was definitely a NFG weekend. From Cartel, to NFG doing GreeN Day, to NFG doing NFG, to ISOH. These guys are uniquely refreshing in the music scene.

- The Love Willows are so freakin' cute. They should tour with MIKA.

- I wish more people liked the Sounds at bamboozle :(. I love that new song, and i was the only one dancing in the crowd.

- Bayside got a lot of points this weekend. Their NOFX set was on cue, like Fat Mike would be proud. Obscure set too.

- I like the variety of acts at boozle this year. That includes Demi Levato. We had a stage that included Cash Cash, Face to Face, Demi Levato, Taking Back Sunday, Ataris, Ednas Goldfish, Journey (cover band), No doubt? Thats really cool.

- Boozle will never repeat the greatness of this year. Hoodwinked was clever and a lot of fun (big headache to try and see everything)

I agree with some of your points. I actually had a much better time this year than last year (even though I was by myself both days). No Doubt was great (sorry to all those people I shoved in front of as they were starting, I was just trying to get to where the kids were jumping around and out of your way if you just wanted to stand and watch). However, I think the best Bamboozle set I've seen was Linkin Park's headlining set two years ago. They just proved how much more professional, tight and proficient they are then all the other bands.

NFG is great but Jordan just....can't....sing....live. Sorry, but they need to stop relying on studio trickery to get those high notes.

Rise Against was a lot of fun, I thought Hero Of War was great in the rain.

3EB doing Motorcycle Drive-By was beautiful on Saturday night.

I was really stoked to hear FOB lean heavily on their new album. I'm sure many opted to whine afterwards "ZOMG! NOT ENUF TTTYG!"

Finally, I think they need to move the soundboards back a little bit or figure out something with the over-crowding at the mainstage. If you want to see a band there you shouldn't have to stand so far to the side.

Best and Worst of Bamboozle 2009...

best use of capes and masks - ISHC - so fun to see the NFG crew dressed up - their costumes are pretty ridiculous - jordan's cape basically looks like a robe tied around his neck with NFG on the back. they were really fun to watch.

best hometown performance - Bayside - always put on a good set, big crowd on the main stage.

best set of day 1 - easily NFG - so high energy, crowd was so in to them, great setlist.

worst set of day 1 - cobra starship - i love this band, but 6 songs in 35 minutes - are you kidding me. here is the complete cs setlist (i know a partial 1 was posted earlier)...

city is a war
talking about peoples birthdays
smile for pop
talking about his dance moves
kiss my sass
talking about all the people he knows
pete wentz
talking about samuel L jackson, more people, etc
bring it
talking, talking, talking (i am not listening any more)
guilty pleasure

i love their music and if gabe had just shut up, they could have played church of hot addiction!

best set of day 1 with a boring crowd - get up kids - what a great band and great setlist - the crowd just wasn't doing anything. every time i started moving around at all people gave me dirty "you are going to spill my beer, i am watching a band here" looks.

worst accessory of the day - swine flu masks - so tired of hearing about it, so tired of seeing them

best swine flu line - all time low singer says "i am so tired of hearing about swine flu, there are so many more important things in the world... like herpes... that is on your penis, and that is forever". all time low played a good set, glad to see the return of the party scene.

best arena rock performance - fob of course - so good with the crowd - was disappointed they dropped the take this to your grave song they have been playing toward the end of their set, but hey ya was fun in the encore.

best set of day 2 - billy talent - so amazing - high energy, good new song, crowd was amazing.

best costume of the weekend - 2 kids with teletubby costumes in the pit with us at billy talent - even had little ponchos over their costumes - so funny.

band that should be ruling the world, but not enough people are listening to - Valencia - such a good set - if you don't know this band you should check them out and see them live. both singer and guitarist came out into the crowd during the last song while people from hit the lights helped them out on stage.

worst crowd surfer - 40+ yr old, 250lb+ fell on my head twice during the used set! if you are that big just keep your feet on the ground!

most amazing performance moment of the whole weekend - tbs singer climbing 40 feet up in the air on stage scaffolding to sing the final chorus of Make Damn Sure UPSIDE DOWN HANGING BY HIS KNEES - it was raining, i was pretty sure he was going to die.

also saw ataris, sum 41, rise against, hit the lights, and no doubt which were all fun. the comedians they had were hilarious - hope they will have them again next year. Lots of fun, can't wait for next year!

So, it was my first Bamboozle. Drove out from Chicago as my friend is a huge Get Up Kids and Face to Face fan and he had never seen either band live.. and I liked a lot of bands playing.

Even though it was a super long drive, it was well worth it.

We saw:
Saturday:
Edna's Goldfish, Bayside, Bloodhound Gang, We The Kings, Boys Like Girls, New Found Glory, The Get Up Kids, Parkway Drive, GWAR, and Third Eye Blind.

Sunday:
The Ataris, 3OH!3, Sum41, Haste The Day, Hollywood Undead, Inept, American Taxi, Rise Against, Taking Back Sunday, No Doubt, and some of Family Force 5, The Maine, and Tinted Windows.

A nice mixture of bands.
I'd say my favorites were Edna's Goldfish (I had never seen them before), The Get Up Kids, and Face to Face. I enjoyed the crowd for The Get Up Kids because it wasn't crazy, but I didn't appreciate some of the kids there not even paying attention and just looking around and texting the whole time. And it was my second time seeing Face to Face, and although I was never a big fan, I enjoyed their set and the fact that they're back playing shows.. they said they'll be playing more shows on the east coast soon, I hope they make it out to the midwest, or another road trip may be in order.

Anyway. that's all I have to say about that.
overall, it was an amazing weekend.

Best and Worst of Bamboozle 2009...

I'm going to comment you part by part..

best use of capes and masks - ISHC - so fun to see the NFG crew dressed up - their costumes are pretty ridiculous - jordan's cape basically looks like a robe tied around his neck with NFG on the back. they were really fun to watch. I caught a bit of this, this did look cool.

best hometown performance - Bayside - always put on a good set, big crowd on the main stage. Great job from Bayside, as always. Great band.

best set of day 1 - easily NFG - so high energy, crowd was so in to them, great setlist. Good set, not the best.

worst set of day 1 - cobra starship - i love this band, but 6 songs in 35 minutes - are you kidding me. This band is atrocious, not sure how someone could love them.

best set of day 1 with a boring crowd - get up kids - what a great band and great setlist - the crowd just wasn't doing anything. every time i started moving around at all people gave me dirty "you are going to spill my beer, i am watching a band here" looks. They played some relaxing songs.. there's nothing about TGUK that makes me scream pit.

worst accessory of the day - swine flu masks - so tired of hearing about it, so tired of seeing them Yea, kind of ridiculous. Worse: the t-shirts!

best swine flu line - all time low singer says "i am so tired of hearing about swine flu, there are so many more important things in the world... like herpes... that is on your penis, and that is forever". all time low played a good set, glad to see the return of the party scene. Sounds like a Tom Delonge line, which makes sense coming from Alex. Didn't catch their set, I just couldn't take any more pop at that point.

best arena rock performance - fob of course - so good with the crowd - was disappointed they dropped the take this to your grave song they have been playing toward the end of their set, but hey ya was fun in the encore. FOB seemed ok.. left kind of early, again, could not take any more pop.

best set of day 2 - billy talent - so amazing - high energy, good new song, crowd was amazing. Great set, stoked they'll be back with Rancid and Rise Against.

best costume of the weekend - 2 kids with teletubby costumes in the pit with us at billy talent - even had little ponchos over their costumes - so funny. Yea, pretty funny. Worst: that dude dressed as a pirate..

band that should be ruling the world, but not enough people are listening to - Valencia - such a good set - if you don't know this band you should check them out and see them live. both singer and guitarist came out into the crowd during the last song while people from hit the lights helped them out on stage. Good band, not necessarily a great set (the first few songs I caught). Sound wasn't too good, so maybe that's it, because they normally slay live.

worst crowd surfer - 40+ yr old, 250lb+ fell on my head twice during the used set! if you are that big just keep your feet on the ground! Seriously. I'm about 190 and six foot, and I don't crowd surf. When you're more than 200lbs you have no business in the air, how many people can bench even close to that, especially in a festival filled with preteens?

most amazing performance moment of the whole weekend - tbs singer climbing 40 feet up in the air on stage scaffolding to sing the final chorus of Make Damn Sure UPSIDE DOWN HANGING BY HIS KNEES - it was raining, i was pretty sure he was going to die. Awesome. He did it last Bamboozle, too. His voice sounded better upsidedown this year than it ever has in the last seven years the band was together.

also saw ataris, sum 41, rise against, hit the lights, and no doubt which were all fun. the comedians they had were hilarious - hope they will have them again next year. Lots of fun, can't wait for next year! I didn't get to the comedians, because of time conflicts, unfortunately.

worst set of day 1 - cobra starship - i love this band, but 6 songs in 35 minutes - are you kidding me.

Good writeup !

Hey did you happen to get the whole Billy Talent set? I'm not good with song titles and I'm missing one or two songs. Stoked for the new album.

TBS was good and I'm glad they don't as many TAYF songs that all the morons scream for. That album is good but some of that shit just hasn't aged well. Adam has gotten much better live over the years. I think Matt Rubano will now be doing more of the stage banter as the new guy seems a little shy.

They're no worse nor better than a lot of bands you mentioned such as Asher Roth, 3oh3, or Hollywood Undead..

I was only familiar with that one 3oh3 song and, after reading the AP article, and hearing that hey both had high GPA's, I was expecting them to be a bit more irreverent, clever, sarcastic, witty on stage. Instead, they just milked the crowd with the lowest of lowest common denominator stage banter. Totally pathetic and I can't believe people embrace this garbage. And to think of all the hate Good Charlotte used to get, at least they were genuine and humble.

How can you be 23, like such awesome music like Edna's Goldfish and Rise Against, yet attend We the Kings, 3oh3, Hollywood Undead, and some of the other shitty bands you listed? Taking a little cousin around with you I hope..?

I don't really know We The Kings, my friend likes 'em, but they were kinda fun... but I do really like 3oh!3 and Hollywood Undead. I listen to a bit of everything, sometimes I'm in the mood for that music.

Thanks. I have no idea why they're so huge in Canada yet can't go more recognition down here. They're much more effective than Rise Against.

The set was super awesome! The new song sounded really great can't wait for III. I also can't wait for them to return with Rise Against, that show is going to be so awesome. Hopefully the tour or new album can boost them to the mega status they deserve to have here.

The band gets on the wrong tours in America, I think. And America's rock tolerance isn't on the Billy Talent style.

The RA/Rancid tour should help.

You saw the Get Up Kids and Hollywood Undead. Who the fuck are you? Also anyone who saw Hollywood Undead instead of Zack Galifianakis is a fool.

Agree with Meroki22. Not sure why anyone would watch Hollywood Undead especially when Zach Galifianakis was on. HU is probably the most contrived, manufactured band ever besides that Brokencyde shit.

in my opinion best sets were Get Up Kids, Face to Face, Galifianakis, Brian Posehn, Yuto, Rise Against and Gwar. I am sure i missed some other good ones though

I posted a lot of my pictures from bamboozle here (http://bloodandshutter.com/tag/bamboozle) and here (http://www.latenightwallflower.com/site/tag/bamboozle/)

also a highlight of some of the bamboozle fashion trends...eh hem 'f swine flu' shirts etc. here (http://www.latenightwallflower.com/site/2009/05/04/bamboozle-2009-fashion/)

$39.50. Buy them through the Rise Against pre-sale or from the Irving Plaza box office. Otherwise, you'll have to go to LiveNation.com where you'll be charged a $13 service fee.

Asher Roth technically isnt a BAND but nice try.. As for the others, I guess can be considered a band and I know they recieve alotta hate and the same with Hyper Crush, but I happen to like that genre as well as alotta other shit... To each his own.. I bet you got some on your list that I woulda highly disagree with.. As for Brokenyde... theres no explination for that

Asher Roth, 3oh3, or Hollywood Undead are all as bad as or worse than Brokencyde.

CARTEL PLAYED SETTLE DOWN!!!! THEY NEVER PLAY SETTLE DOWN!! That is one of my favorite songs and they didn't play it the two times I saw them. :-(

Can I just say that this is a fantastic Cartel set... I love it. I mean, Lose It and Perfect Mistake could be tracks from the EP or Chroma, but still, it's understandable why they're played.

That setlist isn't entirely accurate, they played "Luckie Street"...

Yea, quite expensive for a punk rock show.
