What are some of your favorite bands that only put out one album?

Only one FULL album counts. They could have put out 1 album and three Eps and they still count.

Similar to non-prolific filmmakers and actors.Take Terence Malick for example, the guy has only made 5 films in damn near 40 years. Propagandhi have just released their 5th studio album in over 20 years as a band. I don't want to be that person who releases an album every 1-2 hours(Rollins band).

Well, in that case, blink-182 has put out way more albums then we all thought! I mean, Mark and Travis put out +44, so that must mean that +44 is actually a blink album! And AvA put out 2 albums... Tom is in that band, so that must be two more blink-182 albums! WOW! Then, you have The Transplants, with Travis in it... So thats even MORE BLINK-182 ALBUMS!

if they released cds in 08/09 then you have no idea if they will break up, it does take like 1-3 years to put out a decent album. some bands wait 4-5 years between cds. They need to tour for the album, then hit up the recording studio.

yes I do! I own Burn It Black and Breaking the Process. I still listen to both from time to time. I loved both bands. Injected's unreleased second album, The Truth About You is pretty good too.
