i picked up the Hush Sound album @ thier cd release show this weekend. i am in love with it. it's amazing.

and yea....i'll definitely be picking up the Arrested Development Season 2. it is THE best show i've ever seen and i cant believe it gets such horrible ratings. if it gets cancelled imma kill somebody.

Explosion in the Sky would be worth getting.It just sucks their other release this year is part of the travel in constants series which doesn't go to any retailers.

it's been said several times already, but i am dead set on screaming the praises of this show to the heavens until it's the #1 sitcom on tv. buy arrested development season 2 tomorrow, and season 1 if you don't have it yet, and please please PLEASE watch season 3 (monday 8:00 EST on FOX) when it comes back after the world series (especially if you are a neilsen family). i personally guarantee it is the funniest show you will see on tv this year.

At least Explosions in the Sky has a reason for a reissue. Seeing as the original is five years old and the original presses were sold out it makes perfect sense. They even comtemplated not rereleasing it. Much better reason than senses fail or underoath rereleasing albums no where near as good a mere year after the original release.

I hope they have a U.S. tour in the works soon, not to mention i can't wait to hear their new album.

Maybe they could team up with Mogwai on mogwai's next stateside tour. (so much for dreaming)

I liked Amanda Rogers, Long Winters,and These Green Eyes. But the first two are EP's which I usually don't buy and TGE's doesn't come out till Nov 8th. I may pick up the Lp's by Rogers and Long Winters though, thnx for the insight to some good music.

Too short most of the time, like the longest winters has only four new songs and 2 live tracks. I buy so many cd's usually I don't find the money to buy ep's unless it's a band I love like the new JEW EP.

If I'm not mistaken it's just one song apiece, and both are remixes of songs from the respective bands' last full-lengths. Pretty lame makeup.

I heard it sounds like Thrice. AllMusic says there's more of a hardcore influence running through it, but in that really accessible, watered down way. They also gave it 3.5/5, though.
