It seems the Bandits always get pushed aside with all of this other shit Drive Thru releases.

they better get the promotion they deserve or leave this abomination of a label.

It seems to me that RXB doesn't want to be huge. They were going to put the CD out themselves through MashDownBabylon, but I don't think they had enough funding. Drive-Thru does promote them, but it's kind of hard when people still think of them as a "ska" band.

yeah i heard it was going to be out this year.

That is kinda true. They should be huge though even if they don't want to be.

you heard wrong...

they never EVER said a release date til like... July or something when they said January...

HOWEVER

You must know dates are NEVER set in stone.

Drive-Thru is a big label, but it still operates like a small one... there aren't many people working there, and things DO go slower. Sorry they'll never be like Victory, but in mine and most people's opinion, that's a good thing

I believe a source: DrivingThru is needed but maybe that's just me...

oh my god. the new songs i heard are some of the best songs ive ever heard. ive never been to a show where a band plays so much new stuff and i (along with many many others) get into the new/unreleased stuff as much as their regular set. these songs are fucking brilliant.

I heard that there isn't going to be any horns on the new ablum. Maybe the people that heard the new stuff live can shed some light on this.

I honestly couldn't care about what label they release the album on, as long as it gets released and quickly.

1) There WAS a release date, a long time ago, and it was November 1. Sorry James, you're usually right haha.
2) The AP article (two or three issues back) DID say there wouldn't be any horns. I typed it up (roughly) if anyone would like to see it.
3) This album will kick all kinds off ass, if Brand New and Thursday disappoint (which I highly doubt), this very well may be the album of the year (right on, Al.)
4) I'm really looking forward to this album, if there's any inclination of anything being available, send it THIS WAY please (I'll be checking out the live stuff now).

Im reading that article right now and I do not see it.
They are horns, I have 5 new live songs with horns.
Therefore THE NEW CD HAS HORNS PEOPLE.

I wasn't saying they weren't gonna have horns in the new songs. I just said I had heard that through the grape vine and i was very dissapointed to hear it. But after listening to the live songs I see/hear that there is horns.

I've heard about 2/3 of the album (unmastered). The best word to describe the whole vibe of it: shredding. It's quite awesome. The shit news: it won't come out until spring. Straight from the mouth of a bandmember. Sucky.
