John Death, former guitarist for Adair, has a new project in the works. Pat, who did the drums on Saosin's Translating The Name EP, will be lending his talents in the studio with John. It's called Roma and you can listen here (http://www.myspace.com/thisisroma).

pat's work on translating the name is fantastic. he and anthony MADE that ep fun to listen to. too bad the drums on this stuff isn't as good. but it's a totally different kind of music so, i guess it's to be expected that it's not as fast with all those crazy fills he did on translating the name.

i would have to disagree.. well kind of.. they are just demos that where recorded in a bedroom. If i remeber correctly the startingline demos for geffen sounded like shit and then the album based on a true story sounded just fine... always have to take into consideration that their just demos.

i used to date a girl who's honest to god last name was death. true story. her father was Mr Death, and he wore lots of floral print shirts and sortof looked like Kenny Rogers

if you read the page, they say that he's only going to be playing guitar and doing backups. they're looking for a real singer.

dunno why i laughed, but i did. thanks.

the new drummer for saosin can't keep up with the stuff on translating the name. it's sad how that band is going to fall off because of all the hype from the EP, and a full length that will not come close to its brilliance. and i like saosin. *sigh*
