I wanted to start a thread like this, because there is a ton of music that I listen to that gives me some variety....

Considering my life is very monotonous.

I will name some of mine and I would encourage others to do the same.

Circa Survive/Anthony Green (He has always struck a nerve with me, and he always has something that I can relate to.)

The Acacia Strain-So nihilistic and misanthropic but something that really gets rid of a ton of frustrations whenever I am feeling them.

Caterpillars-I encourage everyone that wants to, to check out this band. They have changed my life. I never thought I could relate to a band's lyrics so much.

Bon Iver-It has such a incredible atmosphere and his voice really really speaks to you.

I would put more, but this should be enough for now. I will post more if people are interested.

I actually prefer music that I can't really relate to. I'm a sucker for amazing characters with amazing stories so when I find a musician who has something interesting to say about themselves, I prefer that to someone who sings about all the things I've been through.
