Don't rag on The Hold Steady - they rock (although they're no Lifter Puller). Seeing Thunderbirds Are Now! and The Plastic Constellations (my favorite live band) on Friday plus Cannary Rose's (http://www.cannaryrose.net), a band on my label, CD release show on Saturday makes for one great weekend (plus Gophers trying to get back the Axe to add to the Jug as well). Only way it could be better would be if Wolf Parade on Thursday wasn't 21+.

um....these guys played a show with my friends band in Decatur and then partied over at his house afterwards.....just to say that Ive never seen anyone act so cool when being anywhere. And thats cool in a bad way. But they do have a good show.

I saw thunderbird high and it was a pretty great experience. I do have to say thought that TAAS are the best band on that bill.

had a ride to their show when they were in philly then i found out the place they played was 18+. im 16. but i was cool with it because the week before i saw HORSE and a coupel days after that Ed Gein so. These guys kick shit though, and i expected one hell of a show if i would of been there. hope they come around an play the church or something.
