So apparently, it's supposed to be really shitty. Which is a huge disappointment, because I was really looking forward to it.

Kiera Knightley is still fine.

Well, I never thought it looked brilliant. It looks entertaining, and I guess that's all that matters. No way to know for sure yet, though. Only a handful of people have gotten to see it.

Tony Scott has made some pretty good movies, so we'll see.

Tony Scotts films would literally be 100 times better if he didn't think that his quick cutting, dizzying, headache inducing cinematography/camerawork was cool. seriously. that's why Plunkett and Maclane is still his best work to date. he didn't use that awful Jerry Bruckheimer mentality to his approach in his movies.

please see 'Man On Fire' for further explanation.

completely! it had a lot of potential too. He just turned it into this pretentious pseudo-cool garbage...well, that and he cast Marc Anthony...cause...you know...he's a...he's a great actor...and stuff...

It just didn't go anywhere. The movie built up for way too long, and the direction was ridiculously over the top in regards to what was actually happening on screen.

yeah, 2 1.2 hours was too long for me. and the over the top thing is so true. everytime i watch a preview for domino(after the headache goes away) it reminds of all those parts in Man On Fire, like the part where he gets drunk and tries to kill himself. that lame camerawork...

that part was ridiculous in man on fire. the previews for domino have that stupid voiceover that says "my name is my name is my name is domino domino DOMINO HARVEY" like 20 fucking times.

It seems cool, but I'm thinking it will probably be one of those movies where 20 minutes into it you realize you just wasted 10 bucks.
