Dead Poetic (http://www.deadpoetic.com) have chosen Aaron Sprinkle (Project 86, Demon Hunter, Anberlin, Acceptance, Emery) to produce their upcoming new album which they plan to begin recording in the coming months. For now, the band plan to enter a studio in New York later this month to record some new demos with Zach Hodges (Telecast, Terminal) behind the boards.

man, its just a relief to hear this band is still together. i loved four wall blackmail, but the recording was shitty. new medicines is an underrated album in my opinion. this bands made some bad decisions in the past, IE opening for papa roach. but, i think they still have a bright future ahead of them.

This can go either way..
You almost have to treat it as a completely new band
I'm still a fan
for now

Doesn't a band have to actually be known to be mentioned in a producers credits? I didn't think anyone even knew that telecast was a band outside of spokane...and russia. They broke up before they even released their album on Tooth and Nail.

everybody should go scope out their live gallery on their website. They have a ton of pictures from their "dead summer city" tour. You can find pictures that I took there as well.

What in the world are you talking about, Telecast sells a lot of records and they just released a brand new album September 27th.

This was also an easy choice considering Aaron's brother Jesse is the drummer.

Hahaha, Aaron is from here. The studio is in a town with a population of like, 2000. Totally rural.

Sweet. I can't wait to hear new stuff from them, to see how the new members affect the songwriting. When I saw them at Cornerstone I didn't think they were that crisp....almost all the guitar work was off. I think once the new members start writing their own parts it'll be better.

I love Dead Poetic. New Medicines was a great improvement over Four Wall Blackmail, both vocally and musically. Plus the production was fantastic. I'm thinking that their new stuff will be pretty amazing.

I'm excited about this. Pretty much anything Aaron Sprinkle produces is amazing.
His album is great to. Geez, Tooth And Nail might as well employ him as their full time producer...
he does enough of the labels records.
