My best friend is having a really tough time lately, she broke her elbow the other weekend is having really bad money problems, she's having a bad time at her job, and it's midterms. So I feel like she needs some happy songs, list all songs that you would put on a mix to cheer someone up with. Thanks!

The entire Jack's Mannequin Everything In Transit album, with the same justification as Redfalcon ;) I love that album so much
I kind of asked about this a few weeks ago:

And to some of the songs on there I have to add, because they cheer my friends up:
Guilty Pleasure - Cobra Starship just because it's ridiculous
Let's Dance To Joy Division - The Wombats because it's about being happy despite things being bad?

Just buy her a Mae CD - they are happy as. If you wanna just choose one, then maybe "Anything" or "The Everglow"

The Wombats are pretty awesome. My friend showed me Part in a Forest and I thought it was great. I should really listen to some more of these guys.
And as for the Happy Mix:
Walk In the Park-Oh No! Oh My!
Don't Worry, Be Happy-Bobby McFerrin
Whoo! Alright, Yeah...Uh Huh-The Rapture
All Together Now-The Beatles
Super Rad!( and basically every other song)-The Aquabats!

I so completely agree with Lets Dance to Joy Division by the Wombats and anything by Mae.
Swim by Jack's Mannequin is pretty uplifting even when things are shitty. As are most of his songs.
Also, Ben Kweller (the self-titled album) can usually put me in a better mood on most days.

get some boybands on it too.
my friend has at least 15 mixtapes from me within these past 2 years, one of which was a 'feel better' one, and it contained a bunch of 90's bubblegum-radio-pop songs... she got such a kick out of it, and she listens to it all the time, even still.
the beatles
the wombats
some oasis songs
