Reccommend me some good bands, I don't like the too hard stuff.....right now I'm not feeling the hardcore screaming either. Anything is fine, no emo/pop music, I'm tiring of that stuff really quick. Just some rock/indie groups who can keep my attention.

Hm, lets ask for recs, but exclude a few certain genres. Makes sense. Anyway, I'm gonna recommend some actual emo bands, as I'm sure you haven't heard them.
Mineral
Texas Is The Reason
Sunny Day Real Estate
Rites Of Spring
The Get Up Kids
At The Drive-In
American Football
Cap'n Jazz
Braid
etc.

I almost did this. And might I add, Embrace. Also, I think Cap'n Jazz is considered post-hardcore too.
But as for the non-"emo" recommendations that are more on the mellow side I'm going to say Sufjan Stevens, Sonic Youth, Colour Revolt, mewithoutYou, Small Sins, The Grassroots, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, The Evens, Husker Du, Dinosaur Jr., Norah Jones, The Postal Service, She & Him, Minus the Bear, This Town Needs Guns, Interpol, Fugazi, and of course, because we all need to embrace that side every once and a while, Earth, Wind, & Fire.

Just trust me!!!! They're an indie/rock band from New Zealand. Look up the songs "Crazy?Yes!Dumb? No!" and "Walking Off a Cliff Again" their album is also called this.
