that is only if the entire show is recorded..... but i think its just copeland's set...
anyways..... all those old jam bands...aand like.. the greatful dead.... they do this....
the mars volta should do it, people would buy those like hotcakes
I thought this was a grand idea, until I saw that they charge $15 per disc. That's basically paying for the show twice. Though I guess if you can't make it to the show, this might be a suitable substitute.

And there are a lot of bands (I won`t drop any name here!) that def. shouldn`t do it, before they become better musicians ... and I think the fact Copeland does this, shows that they have faith in their talent!

think of it as sort of a collectors item, i mean.. ever show will be different right?.. or when the band breaks up, something to remember their live shows by.

I guess it's a cool idea...But there are bands who just let tapers go to there shows, record them, and then just put them up on archive.org for free. And it's not just small bands like Howie Day. U2 does it too.
I like that idea better.

I'm excited for this. Except I worry if the disc will sound ok because the vocals are usually too soft at Lofi. hopefully they turn them up high enough for once and it will be peachy.

The show in Ft. Lauderdale is not at The Factory; it's at Culture Room. I've told Paul this before--I guess it hasn't been changed. It never was at The Factory; the two venues were about 4 blocks apart, and The Factory closed/changed ownership.

Yea, this could be really good. I'm looking forward to the show in Atlanta even more now.

Thrice should do this on the Thrice/Underoath/Bled tour......the setlist that was posted on here was incredible not sure if that would all fit on once CD though.

The best show I have ever been to was when Copeland came to Ottawa this past July.... I really wish I had that on CD....

the downside to this:
Clear Channel (you know, the monopoly that is currently ruining the music industry) has the copyright to Instant Live, so anytime a band chooses to do this they're only adding fuel to the Clear Channel fire.
