For listeners with an open mind, and of experimental stoner rock, I suggest Timberwolves (http://www.myspace.com/timberwolvesmagic) from Frederick, Maryland.
They are a less-mathy Heavy Heavy Low Low, mewithoutYOU sound with some catchy riffs and lyrical content.
Working with Jesse Korman of The Number 12 Looks Like You, they recorded five new songs in a two-day time period.
Their live set is always full of energy and positive vibes. Really friendly people too.

It's a nice diversion from the current thriving pop-punk scene.
I'm working with them on a music video, so check back in the future for that if you'd like.
