This is a good band, so it's bound to get one or two looks, but here's the scoop:
Frontier Ruckus is a six-piece Folk/Bluegrass/Indie band from Detroit, Michigan. Songwriter Matt Millia's songs center on the small, singular and dusky world called Orion Town of which he created, complete with it's own mythology, which is infused with Country Gothic themes of geographical hell and redemption.

Now, I've given them an endorsement, and I believe I've built enough "cred" here, so go, run and scatter. Listen and love.

Theres too many toc ount. Bob is a rap rock group that has alot of energy and catchy songs. I saw a ghost is an incredible screamo band that eaves you bleeding for more, Dreaming of Eden draws alot of the young and older crowd alike with their powerful riffs and face melting break downs. Madison Apart was a let down. they were so talented and let it go to waste with their pre mature rock star attidudes and cockiness. great music tho. Rome ina day has a unique sound, great singer song writting and awesome stage pressence, never fails to put on a good show. They sold out the IOTA club in Arlington, VA. Chuck Shaffer Picture Show sold out Jammin Java in Vienna, VA in about a week. They over sold in fact. DMV (DC, MD, and VA) area has alot of hidden talent that begs to be found.

I forgot to add Count Your Blessings. Always an awesome show, great CDs, great group of guys, totally down to earth, and easy to work with. Reminds me of early FOB, back in the days of Take This To Your Grave, only with more energy.

Woah, DOAR really has a different sound now.
I remember when Garret was the lead vocals.
It was straight death metal.

Haha, this is my friends' ska band. I know ska is a touchy genre, and the songs on their myspace are old. Their vocalist has gotten a lot better and they've gotten a lot tighter as a group. They also dropped their bitchy trumpet player. If you like ska, their worth checking out.
