Last night at the Story Of The Year (http://www.maverick.com/storyoftheyear/site/) / Funeral For a Friend (http://www.funeralforafriend.com) / Anberlin (http://www.anberlin.com) / He Is Legend (http://www.heislegend.com) show in St. Louis Missouri, the drummer from Funeral For A Friend passed out in the middle of a song and had to be taken away by an ambulance. The band had to cut their set in half to go to the hospital with him.

That's terrible, I wish him the very best. They're a great band.

as soon as I saw the title I thought of Somthing Corporate's "Good News" haha.

Aw, that's such a shame. So many bad things are happening with bands lately. I hope he's OK.

That sucks. I really want to go to this to see Anberlin and He is Legend, but it sold out too fast.

I was actually at the show. I think they were only into their 3rd or 4th song when this happened. The drummer's beat started slowing down and the singer was just staring at the drummer for about 30 seconds and then suddenly he passed out and one of Funeral's crew ran out and grabbed the drummer and they pulled him offstage. I figured someone else would be able to play drums for the rest of their set, but they just said they'd be back in November.....

This tour is cursed, I swear. I saw them last night at the beaumont in kansas city and like, during Thrice Taipei's keyboard broke and he knocked a chord off his guitar. Their set was cut short because of that.

Kinda weird that A static lullaby and funeral for a friend are both having shit happen to them and they are supposed to tour together this winter, i hope both bands recover and still continue the scheduled tour

Any idea on what the hell happened to him? I hope he's well now, and hopefully nothing serious is wrong with him. Best wishes to him and his family and band members.

everyone at the show was like "what is going on!?". It was probably one the weirdest things I've seen at a show in a long while. What was even weirder was that Story of the Year made no mention about it and no other bands came out and made any announcements about Ryan's situation. It was almost like the whole situation was fixed....eventhough it's terrible to say that if Ryan actually did have a health problem. I think Story of the Year need to take a break from touring as well. It didn't even seem like it was a hometown show for them. It seemed like any other show in any other city....maybe they forgot they were in st. louis...haha

Fuck, I got this confused with the Thrice tour. I saw SOTY on Friday and Thrice on Saturday so they all kinda blend together. Sorry about that.

i dont think soty have or ever will forget how much thier hometown fans mean to them
tho they were on a break before this tour the stl show wasnt the first day of tour so you should expect them to be a bit tired and worn out
atleast i would think they should be with as much enegry as they put into thier live show when i saw them last year on warped and nintendo fusion
maybe im wrong tho idk
i havent seen them in stl but most bands i have seen in thier hometowns dont go over and beyond the energy and excitement that they would any other night of tour
its 110% all the time
