Rumor is that Danny Boyle has been offered the director gig for Bond 23. How do you feel about this?

I hope he doesn't take it. If the script is anything like the last bond films, I hope he doesn't take it - cause they have been terrible. He is much better than that. Not even Danny Boyle could fix those films up.

I'm assuming/hoping he meant the last Bond film.

I doubt he will do it, and I'm not sure he should, but I voted good idea because I'm a huge Danny Boyle fan. Casino Royale was already my fav. Bond movie, and I'm sure Boyle could make the next one more than just a "blockbuster action flick"

I guess this could work but it depends on what the script is going to be and so on.

As someone who hates Bond movies, I hope he turns it down.

I don't think he would be a good fit.

The brilliance of Boyle is that he makes a completely different film every time he goes out. This would go against all of that (although, I guess TECHNICALLY, it is a completely different film).

I say bring it and think he could be a perfect fit for a big budget Bond movie. The problem with the last film (which I still really enjoyed) was that it was all action and no story. Boyle has shown in the past that he can blend both very well and I think this could be right up his alley. Chris Nolan wasn't a "franchise director" before his Batman run, and you can't deny how great those turned out.

I think he would be able to freshen the series up after a rather disappointing last attempt. Reminds me of when rumors of Tarantino directing Casino Royale were floating around.

I voted great idea because I find Danny Boyle to be a great director. While the one thing says he thrives in non-franchies movies, that's correct, but I believe he could bring something new to the table. Either way I'd still see it.

I'd love to see what he can do with a Bond movie.

Waste of talent. Bond movies should stay in the early 60's, where they belong.
I'd love to see this happen
