People in an area with a good HS Football team do...if your HS football team sucks, you couldn't name any of the top 20 teams

My football team sucks lmao, theyve only won 2 games in the past like 9 years lmao. But Maine teams such in general usually. But i follow HS Football very closely and look at online stats and shit, so i know a lot about it.

No because High School is pinner shit unless we're talking about college recruits. I follow Orange County football very sparingly, basically I follow it to see what recruits S.C. will get.

Lol very true, but its still pretty big to a lot of people. I would have started a college football thread, but figured people might say it was already a thread and bitch at me for posting a useless thread, so i wanted to post something new that i hadnt seen yet lol.

Lmfao i'm lucky i do, but its the College/NFL/AFL that keeps me interested in the sport lol. I HATE my high school. It sucks. Our best sport is Track&Field and Basketball haha. But all the focus is on basketbal for absolutely no reason.

But yeah i still have a big interest in the sport, even though my hs team does suck lol.

Whats sad is the new coach they had for the 08'-09' season was a scout for the patriots back in the day lol

LMAO at him putting Lake Travis on his list. They won't be that good next year. The only reason they were good the past two seasons were because of Gilbert. They won't have him next season so out they go.

Katy High School will be one of the best next season easily because of all the youth they had last season that won state.

i just moved to ohio late last year and it is absolutely frightening how people here actually give a shit about high school sports. Like.... adults.

In Wisconsin nobody gave a damn. The way it should be.

That's because Wisconsin football sucks.

There's HS that have more D-1 players sign from their school then the entire state of Wisconsin.

No, Trinity will not be a top 10 in the nation team. They lost half of their defense 2 of which are on scholarships in the big 10. Best in Kentucky still yes, but not in the nation

Dillon Panthers! J.d Mccoy will have a year already under his belt as a sophomore, Coach Taylor is as fine a coach youll find but they do lose leaders on the field in Matt Serecen and Tim Riggins.

(Does anyone watch this show? Probably the best show out there - it has excellent writing and acting)

People care this much about High School sports?High school basketball, definitely. In the New York area there are a lot of Division 1 prospects, so it's good to keep up with the good teams. Football, I don't care as much...but definitely basketball.
