The Junior Varsity Cancel Shows

The Junior Varsity (http://www.thejuniorvarsity.com) have cancelled any shows planned for the next 11-14 days for obvious reasons (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=91297). They plan on making it for the Hot Rod Circuit (http://www.myspace.com/hotrodcircuit) and Piebald (http://www.myspace.com/piebald) dates, but nothing at this time is definite. Please don't forget to keep Olamide, her family, Andy and everyone else involved in your prayers, thoughts, etc.

I think TJV should get the MTV "We put up with the shittyest year" award. I cant wait to see them with Piebald and Im going to just tip like $20 just becasue maybe that could help for a TV ad or anything.

Its hard to me to grasp how much this band has been through.If anything, everyone link others to there purevolume, or recomend 'Wide eyed" to a friend or something...or the great compromise. Both cds are so amazing, and under-apreciated. I hope they play the dates with piebald, because when I saw them this weekend, they were stellar..everyone should expirance it. They played a record store near my house for a small crowd friday before a show with June, and rocked like it was a packed club. The ones who make it through all the hard times usualy get rewarded in the end, and hopfuly VERY soon, everything will go in TJV's favor and work out. There music means so much to me, and it sucks all there horrible situations bring them down,but Im optimistic that this will all pass,and everything works out in the end!

These guys have had the worst luck, ever. They are soldiers.
I've posted dozens of myspace bulletins with pictures & info on Ola. I just pray she's found.

this band has been through so much, and despite it all they have kept their heads up. now someone they all know and love is missing, and andy told me last night that it was the hardest day of his life. i feel so bad for these guys. they deserve nothing but the best, and they're all stellar dudes, so to read about all of this just makes me heart break.

im so sorry to hear about this.you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. I live in peoria, IL which is about 30 minutes from TJV's hometown and its crazy that this kind of thing can happen to anyone at anytime. Does anybody know if the november 5th show in bloomington, IL completely cancelled or is number one gun and amber pacific still playing?

Do they have a fund or anything set up? I'd love to help in any way I can. If nothing else, maybe I can buy some of their merch. In situations like this though, money will only help so much. I'll definitely shout out a prayer and hope she's found.

i saw the message on TJV myspace bulletin last night..and im dissapointed i wont be seeing them more than likely on the 26th..but i just hope more that they figure everythign out and find her
