hi everyone, i wanted to let you know about my band "YOU KNOW?!".

Hailing from the Vöcklabruck area in Upper-Austria this 5-piece called YOU KNOW?! plays energetic punkrock influenced by various different styles. Their sense of mixing cunning guitar melodies with complicated drum rhythms, combined with driven bass-lines and a raw, passionate voice helped YOU KNOW?! soon to become a well-known artist in the local scene. After releasing their first, self-produced demo in terms of 100% DIY ethics they soon managed to raise attention outside of Upper-Austria, hence playing more and more shows and finally signing to the ambitious, Vienna-based label Remedy Records to release their full-length debut The Days Are numbered on 23 Jun 2007. Lots of shows followed, including support shows for bands like Strung Out, Death By Stereo, Uncommon Men From Mars, Mad Sin, Demented Are Go, Rentokill, Red Lights Flash, and many more. After a sudden setback thru the loss of their rehearsal house YOU KNOW?! was forced to assign rehearsal rooms of befriended bands for over 1 year, making it hard to survive as band. In terms of their usual attitude they showed their teeth and of course did not refuse to exist as a band, even though there was no time / space for writing new songs for a long time. Lucky as they are they got back on track with an even better rehearsal room than the one before, now including a heating and a small studio, where they are recording their new songs right now, which are supposed to be released on a split ep with another, soon-to-be-announced band. The band's plans for 2009 include finalizing and releasing the new demo, writing another bunch of new songs, preparing for their next full-length and of course as many live shows as possible.
