I will be honest with you friend, not a whole lot of people on this site enjoy Sum 41, and I doubt that many of them really care who said what in whatever song.

Sum 41 has released a few albums consisting of at best, average pop punk. Fall Out Boy has released several albums pushing the boundries of their sound and trying different things. Maybe on the surface FOB may seem to be a trash sell out band, but go through the albums and see how the songs are written and arranged. Listen to how far Patrick's vocals have, and how FOB really does melody well. They write some catchy tracks with substance and are not satisfied with sitting still. A song like w.a.m.s. is something that may be some people's least favorite track on the new record, but it is still more innovative than Sum 41's best song.

Plus if I wanted to listen to pop punk there are probably 25-30 artists I would rather listen to than Sum 41

Thats fair enough. I just don't like it when people talk about Fall Out Boy like they are not good or bland or that they have "sold out." But liking one over the other is totally your own preference and I salute you for being honest about that.
