Who is excited for the new album?
I'm really excited.
After hearing broken stars and a clip of "vices", it's making me very impatient to wait until march 31st for the new cd.

Im eagerly awaiting it now after seeing them at soundwave. I didn't listen to them for quite a while cause arrivals & departures turned me off. It's intriguing that a shipwreck in the sand is a concept album

It's been so long since I've given even such a mild fuck about this band that I forget what kind of shitty generalized genre they are.

When I tried to think of what whine fest they were that I must have heard on VH1 4 or so years back, I was thinking of some other sing/scream alternation alternative band (still can't remember it), then I thought "Cut my wrists and black my eyes", but then that wasn't it either so I just fucking gave up.

yes!!! its leaked!!! From what ive got through its really good! a lot harder than arrivals and departures i think. The concept idea was pretty sweet i really think that was a great idea. I really enjoy Their Lips Sink Ships. Shane Tolds voice sounds so much more experienced i think on this record. Like he can really sing when he's not screaming. both of which are very nice lol!

This is an outstanding album, they use a good mix of heavier and softer songs, definitely better than Arrivals & Departures. Vices and I Am The Arsonist are really good tracks.

The record has a lot more pop-sensibility than their latest releases, which works really well. I liked their older stuff but a lot of it featured way to much screaming for my taste. This new record is a perfect blend of screaming and epic choruses.

Yea i agree. I think the first three songs get off to slow start( A great fire, vices, and broken stars) but after that it's pretty amazing. It's not better than Discovering the Waterfront but it was still a very good record.
