I want to highly-recommend finding the "Deluxe" version of the new Thrice (http://www.thrice.net) album, I just spent some time reading through the 32-page booklet that comes with it and have found a whole new level of appreciation for the music.

The Deluxe Edition comes with (from Tower at least) a bonus vinyl, which i'm not sure what's on it, but i'm guessing b-sides.

i read the thing for "the earth will shake" and i remember when i posted for a fans report in of thrice at warped i said my bro caught the set list and it said drop a. well i now confirmed that it was a working title. anyways, commentary on the songs is a good thing to do (soty did it also) also im still gettin into vheissu, i think ill have to listen to it more but itll grow on me like deja entendu did.

I love how they talk about the songs, it's nice to get some insight into what they were thinking and what inspired it. I also love how eveyone in the band writes on there own and comes up with ideas. It's so cool that Riley (Drummer) wrote the riff in "Hold Fast Hope" it's pretty nuts.

It's so sweet, it tells a little story about how each song was made. Definetly worth the 2 bucks. Plus its foil!

thrice are really awesome guys. at my store (HMV) we got 120 copies of thrice in, and we only got the deluxe edition, because it's the one you need to buy. the booklet is amazing with a really awesome in-depth look of each song, how it was written, wut it was written about etc. and you get to read the guy's feelings about their album. buy it. enough said.
