This isn't news, and it may be deleted, but tonight that last ever game at Busch Stadium was played. It's not music news, but it is an important event in history to me. I've spent alot of time there over the last 18 years, and I hate to see it go. Good luck to the Astros and the White Sox in the series, I'm predicting the Astros in 6. Being from this great baseball city, it definitely is going to be one of the biggest events in my St. Louis life. I know exactly how Caleb feels because he used to live here (COME BACK). He knows exactly how much baseball means to this city, how classy we are, and how much we really do appreciate being known as the best fans in baseball. I loved it there at Busch. I love baseball so much, so seeing this go has lately brought back some memories, such as being with friends and family and witnessing some of the biggest things in Cardinals history. I've been to many games there, probably near 80-90 in my life (I'm 17) and it feels like a part of me is about to be toppled with a wrecking ball. My memories go down with that stadium.

The new Busch looks awesome. Here's to a new era.

And to the guy who said "fuck pujols" - what Pujols did that night, will probably not happen again in a long, long while. And no, I don't mean a go-ahead homerun - I mean a go-ahead homerun in the top of the 9th with two outs facing elimination from the playoffs against someone who is considered "The Cardinal Killer." Not only that, but 3 minutes before that, we were one strike away from elimination with Eckstein, and Edmonds actually got on base for once. That was unbelieveably clutch. It just goes to show what happens when you don't quit.

Pencil me in for right field. I've been known to throw out a few runners going first to third.

And though I would like to see the White Sox win this year (so that Ozzie Guillen can be instantly put on the retirement hot seat), I know as a Yankees fan that Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte know nothing else but how to be clutch playoff pitchers. Pettitte's WS Game 4 gem in '96, Clemens' 15-K ALCS game in 2001 against Seattle, the list can seriously go on for a while. Hell, Clemens is, close to unarguably, the greatest pitcher ever. I honestly think that the White Sox are over their heads right about now.

hmm, ive been here since january, so if that's new ok.

and as for the baseball team, count me in at DH. im too lazy to play in the field. i DID set the little leauge record when i was 10 for homeruns in a season because i was too young to play with kids my age, because of my bday or something. so instead of facing real pitchers, the coaches pitched. so basically every AB i got a homerun, 33 that year, in 10 games haha. and i played for mcdonals, so everytime someone got a HR you got a free big mac...damn i was fat after that summer.

Like the ump messing up that call would have made the difference. You have to know when to let it go and just say "my team didn't play as well as the other team". This was the case with the Astros and Cards, as it was with my team, the Yankees.

YEAH I know that I just needed t vent. But as an Umpire, and a Guy who has been thrown out by umpires, I like to give them a hard time. I know that didn't lose the game for Us they should have had better innings all along. There is no game ever that an umpire lost for a team. All they had to do was play better.
